I work across the street from this location. Most days I bring my lunch so I go in to get maybe some fruit or a side like an avocado, or maybe even a cup of salad mix.I always feel like I get treated differently because I rarely order a whole meal.

Yesterday I stood in line right in front and I was the only person in line. All of the workers were working but they all did make eye contact with me but nobody said anything. So just waited patiently because they seemed busy. Until a Caucasian man walked right up and everyone stopped what they were doing to greet this man smile and take his order. The same man walked right passed me to pay for his meal and still no one acknowledged me or asked can they help me. I had to ask the staff if I was invisible.

I am an african american women and I was left feeling very small. I told this company I will never return here again. You lost a customer and I will be telling my coworkers my experience as well. Just very wrong, everyone should be addressed and helped equally. I ended up walking out and I will not be returning. I guess if I'm not wearing a suit and tie with blonde hair and blue eyes I'm not important enough.

There is a long queue at meal times. Other than that, it's not bad. Pay attention to the time you come for dinner.

Food was great but it was ready 15 mins early and cold when we had requested it to be ready at certain time. Store smelled like a bathroom which is the reason for the 3 star rating

The portions at this Sweetgreen were markedly more...probably 25% to 30% more than at the one in Virginia's mosaic district my husband and I went to the day before. Maybe we just suffered from a stingy server on Sunday. But boy did we feel stiffed. Not so at the I street NW store in DC.

I don't often go out for salad at lunch but my coworkers enjoy it so I tag along. I got the pesto chicken salad and it was very good. Lots of quinoa so it feels healthy. The price is high for a salad as it ran me a total of $16 with tax. So not an everyday thing for me but the food is tasty and it's a good option if you are looking to cut calories at lunch.

I just LOVE sweetheart and wish we had them in Europe. Fast, healthy and tasty, it’s all you want from food. Their steak chop and garlic sauce is just delicious. I went here everyday during my Washington stay. Sure the prices are high but I gladly pay that for the high quality that’s offered

Healthy chain for salads and warm bowls. We recommend taking it to go and sitting in the park across the street.

My rice was undercooked and crunchy, and the salmon was dry and overcooked. $30 was spent once delivery fee was included. No one answered when I called, so I had to listen to a robot until it hung up and said they would text me. After the automated text responses, I waited for 20min for someone to come on and tell me that they could give me a credit in the SG app. I don’t use that app and don’t plan to start. What a waste of time and money. Done with SG.

A great solution for eating during your stay in Washington/New York. Despite being a chain, and being lazy because it only has salads, sweetgreen was one of our recurring restaurants during the visit to NY and Washington because of its economical price and the possibility of being able to make the salad to measure, adding as much protein or any extra ingredient as you wish (extra post payment, of course). The negative part: you will rarely find tables where you can sit and eat the salad quietly (you will have to look for a nearby park or bench) and that do not have classic drinks (they are all bio-sodas).

I had an amazing experience at this place! The food is super healthy and clean, and all of the workers are friendly. Special shoutout to the lady with the scarf, Lala – she was especially sweet and helpful!

Really healthy, delicious, locally-sourced food. Not crazy expensive for what it is. Staff are friendly by fast-casual standards.
