The ajaruli is top-shelf. We've returned five times at this point and have never been disappointed. Ajika carrots and Georgian salad are also great.

It’s a nice little Georgian restaurant. It’s not very authentic and lacks service efficiency. We have been waiting for our dish for over 50 minutes and restaurant staff didn’t even acknowledge the wait, nor felt like apologizing for it. The reaction of the server, when we asked for our dish after 50 minutes of waiting was “oh, you still didn’t get it?”Georgia is famous for its cuisine and hospitality, but this restaurant is definitely not supporting it.

Fantastic Georgian food in DC. We had been to Supra its sister restaurant before so we visited Tabla for a more casual atmosphere. It was casual but elevated and the food was just as delicious.

That was worst experience ever. We are big fans of Georgian food. When we got Hinkali with the GREEN MEAT inside we were told that it's supposed to be like that. I'm like really? It's probably the 20th Georgian restaurant in my life I know exactly how meat supposed to look like. So anyway, the kids couldn't eat that green meet..chicken tapaka under grill options arrived fried. Food was disgusting. The management didn't even bother to adjust the check for the food which was impossible to eat. Not recommend at all.

Really a great experience—food and wine were both tasty and interesting, atmosphere was convivial, staff seemed like they were all happy to be at work. The kind of experience that can put me in a good mood for a long time.

Great drinks, bad food. Service was excellent too, just expensive food that didn’t taste good.

Definitely worth the visit. When I travel, I like to try new foods. This was my first time trying Georgian cuisine. The Elarji balls (Fried cheese balls with a slightly spicy sauce) were my favorite. The lamb tarragon dumplings (Khinkali) were a new flavor for me and quite good. For those who prefer more American flavors, try the Pomegranite BBQ chicken wings.Be sure to check out the cartoons on the restroom wallpaper. The script is beautiful

Wonderful, interesting food served in an informal but comfortable setting with great service. The lamb dumplings were the best!

Totally unique mix of flavors and really really good. The cheese puff appetizer is heavenly, perfectly crispy outside, melt in your mouth light as a feather cheese inside. These guys know what they are doing. Their pizza-like things are also great. Looking forward to the soup dumplings.

Host and server took care of our group well. Very attentive and answered any questions we had. They also had a great playlist in the background.

We love Supra but because Supra is a fancy fine dining establishment it can be a pain to get all dressed up to go there. Our waiter described Tabla as "like Supra, but a bit more funky" and that was an apt description: it's a lot of the same food but Tabla is a lot more chill and low-key. The prices are a bit lower too. We thought the food was just a tad worse than at Supra (the dessert especially fell completely flat here) but we appreciated the ability to have delicious Georgian food without all the fuss. We didn't have to make dinner reservations well in advance either like we do at Supra. Looks like they have some takeout specials too for those who want to save even more money.

We ordered their food for the first time, got on time, was truly amazing. We took the fleatbread, Georgian green salad, beet pkhali, eggplant walnut salad, Georgian spiced fries(top notch home fries), ajaruli (which is basically a egg and cheese khachapuri?) and green merguli ?. And we took all of it just for 2 and finished almost all of it (but don't worry we'll eat the leftovers tomorrow, no way we're going to throw it away).

Khachapuri is one of my favorite foods, so when I heard Tabla was a Georgian restaurant I had to check it out! Tabla was cute restaurant with a fun interior. Pictured are 3 different kinds of Khachapuri, and I liked them all. The best was definitely the eggplant and tomato megruli which I highly recommend it! My friend got the wine here as well and told me it was excellent.
