So many delicious options and the staff are very friendly.

Favorite tacos are The Jeneral (rare tuna in a cabbage cup), Chicken Cesar Chavez, Bobby Leo (fried cauliflower), Prep School Poutine (sweet potato fries), and for red meat Aliens Have Landed or Hey Zeus.

Tortilla soup is good. Wish dining in would mean real plates/bowls (i.e. less trash)...except the ceviche in a plastic cup is perfect!

On my way to Wegmans today, I swung by Taco Bamba and I’m so glad I did. The guy behind the counter was incredibly welcoming—super friendly vibe right from the start. I didn’t catch his name at first, so I asked, and he introduced himself as James with a big smile. He took the time to walk me through the whole menu like a pro, making the whole experience feel personal.

I ended up getting the Prestige Worldwide taco and the Prep School poutine, and wow… both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were on another level.

James also showed me the happy hour menu and was hyping up the wood-fired pineapple and the Oaxacan Old Fashioned—he was spot on about how good they are. The food was incredible, but honestly James’s welcoming energy and great service made it even better.

I’m definitely bringing the family here next time. This place is a gem!

Excellent all around. Superb margaritas and best non-alcoholic margaritas in the District. Warm and responsive service. 5/5.

Taco Bamba City Ridge is hands-down one of my favorite spots in the area.:: not just because the food and cocktails are consistently outstanding, but because the team here makes every visit feel like a genuinely great experience.

A huge shout-out to Matt Savage, Guillermo, and the GM Imoja. Their customer service is truly next-level. Every time I walk in, they treat me with warmth, professionalism, and a familiarity that makes the place feel like a second home. These three are absolute standouts.

I'm a creature of habit here… I always order the Carne Asada tacos, and every visit sparks the running debate about just how good they're going to be this time. (Spoiler: they always deliver.) And my go-to cocktail, the Oaxaca Old Fashioned, hits the mark every single time... smooth, smoky, perfectly balanced. The bar is always clean and people around are fun.

Exceptional staff, top-shelf food, and cocktails that never miss. I always look forward to my next visit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food. Best Al pastor taco I've had in ages

After being disappointed by the King Street Oyster Bar in the City Ridge complex, Taco Bamba generally surpassed expectations. We really enjoyed the pescado, lengua, jeneral, and the spicy shroom (it’s actually spicy) but were less impressed with what we dubbed their “tik-tacos”: tacos that look really good on the surface but were either overwhelming with too many flavor combinations or underwhelming with subpar ingredients. The $11 “prestige worldwide” fell solidly into the latter category—the lobster was very tough and chewy and I gave up on it after a bite. That said, there are certainly a lot of other creative options that we look forward to trying in the future.

The food is fire fire fire and cheap cheap cheap! I’ve been going out for 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like it. The five stars on the service and the atmosphere? - Yeah that’s Matt, the bartender. Perfect margaritas and perfect vibes. Just about our favorite place to be when he’s working. I’m telling you! - But don’t tell your friends. If everyone knew, there would be a waiting list for a seat at the bar…

This place came highly recommended by a friend, who mentioned that each Taco Bamba location has a few unique tacos reflecting the local vibe and demographic. It was definitely a busy spot — the inside was crowded and quite loud — so we decided to sit outside instead. It was a bit chilly out, but the tacos were absolutely worth it.

I tried the Aliens Have Landed and the Taco Bamba — both packed with flavor! The Taco Bamba had a real kick to it (fair warning if you don’t like spicy), and the Arabe was delicious too, though the pita cooled off quickly since we were eating outside.

One tip: don’t make the same parking mistake I did — I paid $16 at the Ridge City lot when there’s free street parking available in the nearby neighborhood. Totally worth the visit, just plan for the crowd and park smart!

Sat at the bar while it was not very busy at lu ch and service was horrible. Dude had better things to do than wait on customers.

The food is great, but avoid this place during peak hours – they frequently get my orders wrong. I also once heard a woman complain that she’d been waiting for her order for 40 minutes.

Best tacos and I love the outside —- but worst music for eating a taco. Van Halen, beastie boys , Green Day or guns and roses are fine if that’s what you are into but just not for chilling with a margarita and a taco. So we eat and run. But I’d really prefer to eat and stay for another drink .

I love this place! There are TVs, the kids can run outside, and the food is awesome! It is our go to spot.
