Taichi Bubble Tea - Georgetown

Ordered a regular milk tea and never going back. The tea was completely unsweetened (no option to adjust sweetness so was assuming there would be some sweetness to it), the tapioca/boba was overcooked and mushy, AND the description said the base was early grey tea but instead had jasmine tea for the base. Personally not a fan of milk teas with a jasmine tea base because it’s a little too floral for me.

Ordered a matcha milk tea with strawberry boba was definitely a 9 out of 10. Flavor was amazing and nothing artificial tasting. Already dreaming of my next drink!

Ramen is tasty and boba is DELICIOUS!

This is the most underrated ramen spot in DC. My fiancé and I come here weekly, we honestly can’t help it. We have tried some of the other ramen spots in the DMV, one that even has a Michelin star, but this spot is our fav. They cook the broth fresh daily for 7 hours. SEVEN HOURS EVERY DAY! This place is better known for their boba but do yourself a favor and ORDER THE RAMEN! Also the service is great. They also always treat us with a lot of kindness.

My partner and I come here almost every Saturday, and leave our ramen bowls completely empty. We have tried many ramen spots, within D.C. and outside of it. The ramen at Taichi is just next level! The pork, bamboo shoots, noodles… don’t get me started on the broth.

Outside of the delicious food, the people who work at Taichi are really lovely. They treat us like family every time we come in, and we are always so happy to be there.

Taichi is worth your money and calories!! Try it if you’re in town. Go back if you love it as much as we do.

Great place I go here with my bro. Boba is top tier, havent tried much of their food, and there’s some strange smell of lotion or shampoo that welcomes you inside 5/5

Flavorful ramen and fast service! We got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and fried gyoza which came out fast and were so delicious!

Service is totally sucks, I order Thai Tea & Jasmine Milk Tea, and come out with Jasmine Milk Tea & Taichi Milk Tea. He didn’t feel wrong, and he charged me 25 cents for “less ice” with a reason “we put more milk” with a quirky laughing face. The milk tea is taste bland, never come back again.

I am a frequent customer and their bubble tea is Always the same consistency, which is why I keep returning. The prices are very reasonable compared to the senseless outrageous prices of others. It seems like a family owned business, so customer service is always great.

Ordered a classic milk tea that was simply disappointing. The drink tasted only of milk and the pearls were not sweet at all. Overall the drink was just bland, but service was simple and quick.
