Our first visit and we greatly enjoyed the Latin music Sunday night, the laid back neighborhood watering hole, and the food (limited menu but good choices. Beer selection was very good. My cheeseburger was 1/3 pound, brioche bun, fresh lettuce, tomato and sweet onion. Spouse had chicken tenders. The music and the overall vibe will keep us coming back!

I used to go to Takoma Station 30+ years ago, pretty much monthly, with law school classmates. It was our go to outlet on Thursdays when we could afford it and had time away from class and studying. I haven't been recently but was always glad to know it's still there. So when we finished a night out at Busboys & Poets recently watching the Band Club Experience, I thought, why not stop by Takoma Station for a bday toast with one of our party. We arrived at 10pm. And much to our surprise, it was closed?? 😲 How is a legendary jazz club closed at 10pm on Saturday? Is it a local Takoma Park ordinance? Other than that, I see no reasonable explanation. So, since we could not enjoy the place as I was excited to do, I cannot give more than one ⭐😔
