Nice restaurant in Adams morgan, the food was prepared and brought quickly. The tacos were 4.75$, and they were simple but good. I believe the meat tacos were better than the vegan ones, especially the carnitas and chicken tacos. The staff was amiable and responsive, it was a quite nice dinner.

Placed a to-go order around 9pm. Picked up at 9:15 and asked the server if everything was in the bag, she said yes. I walk home and open the bag to find that 3/5 items are missing. I called back several times at 9:40 and the line goes straight to voicemail repeatedly. I left a message explaining what happened, I hope I get my money back.
As for the food, I did receive the chicken taco and the huarache con suadero. The taco was decent but the tinga was dry. The suadero was some of the worst I’ve tried. Suadero should be soft and fall apart in your finger. What I received was tough, over cooked beef cubes that were very salty and chewy. The huarache itself was incredibly thin and did not have any flavor at all. It was also covered with a blanket of green lettuce that overpowered whatever they topped the huarache with.
I really wanted to help my raza out and give this place a chance. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. I would avoid this place.

I just ordered 5 Quesabirria tacos along with 4 Al pastor tacos via Grub Hub. The dixie cup of au jus provided for the Quesabirria tacos was absolutely pathetic.

I visited here for a lunch break and was blown away! This is an amazing little taco shop that I highly recommend visiting with your friends.
The menu is very simple and very affordable. The tacos are like 4.75 each and there’s a large variety of meat options. They also had quite an extensive drink menu.
I ordered the quesabirria tacos, and they were phenomenal. It came out piping hot, and was really tasty. The consommé was strong but didn’t completely overpower the natural flavors of the meat. The shell held together the whole time and didn’t make a mess in my hands. I was also very impressed with the two dollar salsa, it had a little bit of a kick to it which was a nice surprise.
My service was really fast and all of the servers were extremely polite. The interior of the restaurant is super cool, especially the huge hole in the wall that allows people watching. I really enjoyed the small parts of the experience two, like the tile tables and the weaved chip baskets. They also had plenty of seating options, including some seats on the outside of the bar.
This is one of my new favorite spots in D.C and I can’t recommend it enough!
