Taqueria Al Lado does an Ecuadorian food pop up on Sundays. I ordered the encebollado mixto. The flavors hit the spot, and warmed me up on this cold Sunday.

The food is pretty enjoyable. Reasonable prices for DC. Staff is really nice and friendly. I come here about once a month and it's a spot where I will happily take friends who are visiting. It's a cool vibe outside, I would recommend expecting to wait in line on a weekend night.

So we found this place off the humble. A very cute and quaint Mexican spot. Vey authentic tic. Cute space. The food was fresh authentic and good. The drinks were amazing just like the customer service. Ms Jessica, Luis and the Owner were so nice. They made you feel welcome. My friend booked her sister Happy hour birthday dinner at the spot. If you are ever in H street and need a good margarita and tacos check them out. You will not regret it. and get the chips they are so delicious and warm. Sorry I did not take kite pics. I was so amazed at the place that I was a bit occupied lol

Tacos Salsas Drinks Music Tortillas are fresh, salsas made in house 100% recommended for tacos and drinks coming from a Mexican.

My husband and I each had a Chipotle Quesadilla and it was the best Quesadilla that either of us have ever had! Great find!! We will be back the next time we are in the area!

My wife said that this place has been on her list for some time.. if you are a DC native you will know that this is the old location for horace and dickies. Anyway this new establishment added an exterior awning so you'll be able to have seating options which weren't available with the previous tenant. We went on a relatively cold day but they do have heating lamps the only issue is that they time out and so you have to keep asking them to come back and turn it on. The food came out quickly very fresh prices are reasonable portions are substantial. Plan to come back and try a quesadilla as well as some more tacos they have a wide range of meat/vegetarian options. If you're in the area stop by. I would definitely recommend it.

This is fantastic taqueria food in every respect. Tacos were perfect. Margaritas mixed well. Atmosphere is beyond perfect, indoor and covered outdoor with heaters. So good. Must try on H street. Sábado elevado.

We had some Tacos with different toppings, can recommend the Chipotle-marinated chicken. When you order some Chips, you will have enough for 2-3 people. The queso was good aswell.

2 stars because technically the food was edible. Had been wanting to try this place for the last year and finally made the trek on a rainy afternoon but it wasn't worth it. So many good reviews, and I can only think it's because peoples standards have gotten so low. Bad quality and mediocre food has been normalized. They keep bending us over and we just keep taking it. I ordered two fish tacos. They were street taco size, a two-three biter, but I'm not complaining about that. There were minimal toppings; I was told cabbage with bits of cilantro worked through but this place, like so many others, is making bare bones food with little to no flavor. Tacos are easy to make spectacular, and they aren't expensive, so a bad taco means the staff just doesn't care. I ordered chips but no salsa to go with it. Huh? I didn't want quacamole. No salsa is just weird and, again, the laziest a place can be. Like embarrassing lazy. They might as well have just given me the finger when I walked in. So underwhelming. So blah. So bad! Never again. I can make better tacos at home. Buyer beware!

This place is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! Excellent and affordable food and margaritas, simple service (order with QR code and pay up front, then food and drinks delivered to your table), simple but pleasant space and decor. We have ordered the carnitas and the suadero (in different forms, quesadilla and huarache) and both were delicious, as well as a variety of tacos. All we’re prepared with care and served kindly. A great neighborhood spot!
