It’s great to have a sports bar back in woodley park, but they haven’t quite dialed things in yet. It’s been a few months, so hopefully they get things figured out soon. No atmosphere/decorations, service isn’t quite good yet (dirty dishes, didn’t bring us plates to dispose of our wings, took a long time to get our beers), typos on the menu. These are all things that can be cleaned up easily, so there is hope! The wings were very good. The burger and the cheesesteak: not so much.

Had the 10oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Absolutely delicious! They grilled the steak perfectly (I requested the rarer side of medium rare - they nailed it) and it was nicely seasoned. Mashed potatoes were light and fluffy, and the brussel sprouts were crispy outside and had the perfect amount of bite. A small piece of sweet and moist cornbread made for a very nice finish. Highly recommend!

We loved Tavern 18. The food was delicious and Keeshawn was an awesome host, waiter and everything in between. The cornbread is delicious. We had the chicken Alfredo, turkey club with fries and onion rings and a house salad. The music was very good too. A great place to visit after the Zoo.

I was eating there and overheard a worker claiming that she wasn’t paid to the owner. I feel like the price they charge they should pay their workers. I won’t be coming back to this place
Stopped in for dinner after visiting the zoo. Folks had on the street actually came up and recommended it to us while we were looking at menus. It was the best wings we’ve had. I had the salmon with Brussels sprouts, and chef came out to trail new food. Best experience we’ve had in our 5 day stay in DC!

Nothing but praise for this place! Woodley Park has needed a sports bar-like venue for a long time and this place delivers. Great food. Amazing staff and ownership. Was an amazing place to watch the Commanders with kids and get food that made everyone happy!
