Love love love Teddy’s! Their food is on point! Very flavorful food and friendly service. We always try to make it a point to come when in the area. I’m also really happy for them with new location - same street just different spot ☺️ loving their new updated look 💙 keep it up Teddy’s!!

I never had a roti that I could eat with one hand like a burrito but this is it. So good! I got the mixed veggie roti and a side of the house made pepper sauce. Pepper sauce was so good.

Tried the curry plate with rice and peas and cabbage, curry goat roti and bake and saltfish. All were SOO delicious!!! I am in a food coma right now. Extremely authentic & great eat with different spice levels depending on your preference. The service was great. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Both the shrimp roti and goat roti were fresh with generous portions for fair prices.
If you haven't had roti before, this is were you want to try and I recommend medium spice for your first time.
Happy to have Teddy's new shop in the neighborhood 🇹🇹

It’s hard to impress me with Trinidadian food. I am from Trinidad so most places just don’t hit the spot. That is not the case for Teddy’s!!!!!!!! This place is AMAZING!!! Trini food is a labor of love and every bite was as delicious as the first. I can’t find real authentic Trini food no where in DC this was amazing. The people are so friendly I felt like I was walking into my Tanty’s kitchen. By far my favorite restaurant in DC

The for the price ugh the customer service is trash and terrible, and the food is overpriced and unappetizing. This place has been in business for a long time and I believe in a few weeks no one will revisit. It is not worth it, they don’t greet, demeanor is nasty. You might as well visit the Caribbean Market or another establishment and get the best-tasting food for 60% less. Don’t waste your time and money here is like tarrifs added why is a bake and salt fish $15.00 and it tastes like cardboard? The customer service is poor; the lady seems to be doing you a favor, but proceed with caution. It’s not worth it.

Just discovered Teddy’s Roti Shop this week and in my opinion, the best West Indian Cuisine in the DMV area, hands down! I’ve tried them ALL. Teddy’s Dal puri is much bigger and thicker. When you order your food as a wrap, it’s less messy and easier to eat because of this. I usually order Curry Chicken and it is a luxury at Teddy’s to be able to have options between bone in or boneless and also white or dark meat. I’ve read some of the other reviews about complaints of spiciness, which makes no sense because spiciness options are on demand. You get what you order! Chicken is seasoned heavenly and their portions are super generous with outstanding prices. Especially for our current economy. You get a lot of bang for your buck! Teddy’s Doubles are also very flavorful and the best i’ve had in the DMV. I didn’t get the woman’s name who took my order but she was very pleasant and did not hesitate to explain what all of my options were for every single one of my orders. She kept a smile on her face the entire time and educated me about anything that I was unsure of. I live 28 miles away from this location and i will definitely be coming back, again and again! The customer service was extremely hospitable and impeccable!!
If you’re looking to satisfy your belly with undeniably the best West Indian/Caribbean food in the area, look no further than Teddy’s. You will NOT be disappointed. I would give this restaurant 1 million stars if i could!
To those who have rated Teddy’s less than 5 stars, my honest opinion, you’re ridiculous! lolol - - I personally challenge you to name one place in our immediate area that can even contend with Teddy’s. Like i said, i’ve tried them all. And don’t you dare even say Caribbean Palace in Maryland because Teddy’s Dal puri dwarfs theirs. Go ahead, i’ll wait..

We followed a friend's tip to go for dinner at this small venue and were not disappointed! We filled our bellies for little money and what a feast it was! The goat curry was fantastic! The staff were lovely and let us try many of their drinks and sweets, so we got a great impression of what food in Trinidad & Tobago was like!

Food, service, atmosphere 100/10!
Immediately greeted with the kindest welcome from the owners, so genuine and sweet. The food is definitely authentic and confirmed by all 3 of my friends who had the pleasure of trying it as well. Can’t recommend enough and will be back next time in DC!
