Food was just okay. The Hong French toast left a lot to be desired. A sprinkle of chopped peanuts and strawberry sauce should top it. The strawberries weren't the freshest. The sausage was gray. But the Nashville hot honey chicken biscuits were tasty

Really bad experience here unfortunately with very rude and unprofessional service. My wife made a reservation for Saturday by calling on a Thursday, including receiving a text confirmation. We were hosting friends from out of town and excited to talk with them at brunch. When my wife went to the host stand on-time on Saturday with me and our friends, and said we were there for a reservation, the woman working there was extremely rude, and gaslighting us. The hostess said that they don’t take reservations on weekends, then that we must have called their other location, then that we had never called, then when we showed the number we called she said that it was for the other location. She spoke very rudely to my wife as she tried to understand, saying they don’t have any tables, there’s no way they can seat us, and that we should know that they don’t take reservations on weekends so there’s no way we could have made one. Then another person came up - must have been a manager or more senior wait staff because then the hostess changed and said that they could seat us in 20 minutes. So we went for a walk and waited the 20 minutes. During this walk we verified that my wife did have a text from Thursday that said the reservation was confirmed on Saturday and at the capital hill location. In addition, during the meal, one of the wait staff was extremely rude to another waitress, yelling at another waitress who was bringing coffee to our table.Disappointing because the food and location were good, but, really there is a problem with some of the wait staff.

I ordered a Cobb salad with Crispy Chicken, you’d usually see restaurants who get pick up orders place the hot food on the side and not on the salad. Not for Ted’s, they placed the hot chicken on my salad melting the cheese and wilting my salad making it inedible. I called back and spoke to CJ who had an attitude to talk to the manager and was meet with another disgusting attitude from the manager Diana, she claimed they always do that when I’ve received something different from the restaurant. She was totally unprofessional and rude, be careful when ordering from this restaurant they don’t seem to care about your concerns or food.I hope the parties that make decisions for this restaurant see this matter and handle it so that no one receives their food like this.

Delicious. Unreal cornbread appetizer, boozy milk shake, great chicken and waffles and salads.

It wasn’t a bad spot! The service was quick, our large party got sat fairly quickly, and it’s located in a cute neighborhood to walk around in.The only con is that the “homemade pop tarts” aka puff pastries were pretty dry. Other than that it was great though.

I just do NOT understand the hype. I have had far better breakfast food from Dennys or iHop. I know some locations are better than others, but this place just straight misses the mark.

Food and atmosphere is great! Service is excellent not busy, when it’s busy it’s slightly lacking but still decent.

This location is too busy and the cornbread is not made the same as the 14 th Street location. I ordered the Ted’s Cobb salad with salmon, very tasty. My daughter gave her pot roast a 7/10 due to the fat in the meat ??‍♀️? and my mom enjoyed her breakfast meal. The only thing was that the coffee was too strong and powerful ?? mom said this is not Starbucks and my coffee should not be that strong. Oh, the avocado toast was delicious. Zanyah(spelling) was our server and she was a joy! Thank you Zan!

Good breakfast choices, but coffee was terribly burnt. Noise level was way too high to hear across the table.

I decided to go here with friends for dinner because of all the good reviews, but unfortunately I was disappointed. Our server was friendly, but rarely checked in on us. Everyone else's food arrived except for mine. When I asked the server, she said that she was getting it. I get that this is a mistake and it happens, but my food came out 20 minutes after everyone elses and during that time there was no explanation given to me by the server, no warning it would take that long, just that she was getting the meal. All I ordered was a breakfast meal of pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage. But when it finally arrived, my order was wrong. I got fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs. I also wasn't the only one, my friend ordered bacon with her meal and got sausage patties. I felt like my pancakes were also dry, and while I appreciated the portion size of 4 pancakes, the last 2 of mine looked extremely pale. I just felt like my meal wasn't prioritized after it was missed, because when it arrived it wasn't amazing or correct. And finally the poptarts. I don't know, it's $4 for a pop tart that seemed pretty small. It's yummy because it's homemade, but when it arrived it also wasn't warmed up, which I feel like should be the norm of how poptarts are served. Maybe you can ask the server to warm it up, but there were already problems with our meals, and our server was hard to reach, so we just enjoyed it as is. In any case, it was good, not necessarily amazing.
