I always hit breakfast joints in cities I'm visiting, and this here Ted's Bulletin was pretty much the definition of standard/average. Location obviously is great being on 14th St, ambiance was fine just a bit generic, service was fast and friendly enough, price was a little high but not awful. I ordered the Big Mark's breakfast and my scrambled eggs texture was very rubbery, so didn't really finish them. Bacon was very thin, sausage was good, hash browns were sufficiently crispy and buttery, pop tart was dry. Overall, I am sure there are local joints around that have more character, and tastier cheaper food. That being said, it certainly ain't bad.

We had about a 25-minute wait for a a group of 5 for breakfast. The wait time can go by fast as you’re able to buy bakery items or coffee in the waiting area. I got a vanilla latte & blueberry cheesecake tart. The vanilla latte was okay as it lacked flavor. The tart was yum as it’s a less sweet upgraded pop tart! For my entree I got the Hong Kong style French toast which was a lot and it was okay not amazing- honestly tasted like an upgraded pb&j with lots of oil. The hash was good! The rest of my party agreed it was a lot of food. The atmosphere is very pretty, however it was very loud inside which made it hard to hear/talk. All the employees were very nice and friendly!Parking: Parking is street parking which can be free or free 2-hour but can scarce on the weekend or there’s a parking lot which charges $30 for three hours.

This was the best meal on our trip to Washington DC. We arrived during happy hour so were able to enjoy specialty drinks that were really fantastic. The food was outstanding! From the cornbread to the entrees, everything was really wonderful. I strongly recommend having a meal. I will say the kids portions were a bit on the small side, though that could just be that my kids seem to be outgrowing kids menus. So we ended up having to order more. But the portion size of the noodles felt more like they were having an order of french fries with a side of noodles, instead of the other way around. My wife and i loved our meals and we got a side of their Brussel sprouts which were delicious. We started out with the Corn bread which was also fantastic. Definitely a great mean. So glad to have tried it.

Went here on a lark… was standing on the corner on 14th and typed “food near me” into my phone and I was standing outside, 25 feet away.My name is Ted, I had to like it.Great staff and service. Great space. Great drinks.Food was paradigm shifting. Had an appetizer of a mundane item that was unbelievably delightful. Bartender (BOB) recommend a meal I would never try- but I did- and it was unbelievably great. This is what the world should be like.

If I can give 1 star I would I’ve been to the 14 st several times but this time was a big inconvenience for me. The unsatisfactory encounter with the service and the quality of the food was ridiculous for something as simple as a grilled cheese It was quite frustrating to receive a cold order and experience a long wait, then to have the sever eat a fry in my face and say yea there cold ,They took the order back only to refry the fries which came out brunt .The sever went to atemp to replace the order but at the point I was very annoyed I left while waiting on her to tell me what’s going on. Probably want be returning
