The food is so good and price is reasonable, cheaper than other thai restaurants nearby. Also the inside is spacious so that we eat comfortable without many noise!

I was looking for Pad Thai which I ordered as well as a duck dish. The food was well prepared, quickly and delicious. I had requested extra roast pork and the chef added a lot. Though not inexpensive there was enough of each dish for several meals.
This was the day after the internet debacle, they were still having some computer issues. I paid in cash but was short $1. They let me take my dinner anyway. I later returned with the dollar!
I will definitely return to this good local Dupont Circle restaurant.

DELICIOUS!
I stopped in for lunch as it was a quick walk from my hotel, and it had been recommended by the staff. I’m so happy I listened.
I ordered the fresh garden rolls and the basil eggplant with chicken . THEY WERE SO GOOD! I really wanted a lot of veggies and had an odd craving for eggplant (so weird) and the food hit the spot! The flavors were bright and every bite was as good as the first. I was in and out in <45 minutes. It could have been quicker, but I was wildly indecisive about what I wanted. You get your food in about 10 after ordering.
Portion sizes are pretty good, and there’s no lunch menu/pricing, but I will definitely be back!

I'm giving this a 2 food star because once I started my food it was just ok. Flavor was there but temperature was luke warm. It tasted like it was reheated and was sitting out..... ok but not the best but couldn't finish because hair was in it. So in my culture we no longer eat once we see hair in food..
I also didn't like that they handed my friend her food realized it was wrong then gave it to the correct person.. I'm not sure but I thought that wasn't supposed to be done.
I didn't address it. I wanted to leave peaceful and pay for my items.....but not likely to recommend..

Large portions, good prices (for DC), great service, and there are always walk-in tables available. Glad to have Thaiphoon in the neighbourhood!
