Quick service and the food was decent. Would visit again.
2 stars for the good food. However the large visible rat traps under the booths and the food on the floor was a little bit of a turn off The food is also so expensive.

The food at Thaiverse is original and "Thai hot", exactly what we were looking for. The menu has a great selection of Thai dishes, the taste of everything we had was excellent. We had a great time - and came back the next day. I also was very pleased to see that the few wines offered were very good choices at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a very charming ambiance and the services was nice and welcoming.
Where to even start. My friends and I visited this restaurant recently and had a terrible experience. We came in hungry and excited but that quickly changed. The server was quite cold and treated us with contempt. She got my order wrong, told me that I did have the correct item and walked away, then came back to fix the order after realizing she did make a mistake once the chef informed her. I don’t wish to apply what an employee does to entire reputation of a business, but I will mention that she acted in an outrageous manner…. BUT let’s actually remember this is a restaurant, so I shall focus on the food. The best word to describe the food is Unappetizing. I frequent Thai restaurants often and I LOVE their cuisine. The entire country of Thailand would be ashamed of the meals this restaurant is serving. The fried rice had lots of incredible ingredients, with absolutely NO flavor. The Tom Yum soup was FOUL. I had just recently went to the Maryland state fair and the smell/taste of their version of the soup reminded of the barn of all the farm animals housed there, with a tang of mold. (I wish i could say I am kidding) The vegetable spring rolls were quite a peculiar texture and awfully disappointing. I guess I could mention the chicken Satay was tasty. However, if you choose to visit this restaurant and happen to have issues with the food, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This place is amazing, I love the lamb curry. Oddly it’s never very busy, but the food is amazing, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is even better. Great hidden gem you will not be disappointed in.

Last night the service at Thai Verse was abysmal. It was not particularly busy; were two servers for 5 tables. After a moderately long delay before ordering, we asked for a drinks menu that never came. Halfway through the meal (the food was excellent, by the way) we tried again to order drinks, asking whether we could have them before the end of the meal. The check arrived (and the drinks never did, with nary an apology). The server who cleared the plates from the next table knocked a drink can to the floor, said something like "oops", and left the two diners next to us to pick it up themselves. The three times I've eaten at Thai Verse, the food has been simply extraordinary -- fabulously fresh ingredients, with that sort of high-resolution spicing that's just magical in that you can taste each of the ingredients in just the right combination. Until last night, I've wondered why there isn't a line out the door. I hope that this feedback reaches the management, as it would be a shame for this restaurant to go under for lack of attention to service.
So underwhelming. Really didn’t seem authentic. Ordered Thai hot, wasn’t even hot.
The food is very tasty but the prices are high and portions are quite small. Probably the smallest of any Thai place I ever visited

We were there for lunch on Sat of the holiday weekend. No one else in sight but the server and the people walking along CT Ave. We had a window table. It was lovely. The space is beautiful and the decor relaxing. No noise. Our server was delightful as was the food and drink. Going back there next week for dinner - recommending the place to all my neighbors who may not know it's there because it's up a flight of stairs.
We are regulars at Thaiverse in Middleburg. The food was different at the DC location and I wasn't as much of a fan. The prices were higher as well. The ambiance and service was excellent
A few of us were in town and went out for a team dinner. Our server was lovely. The space was quieter when we went, so we were able to catch up comfortably. I ordered the pad see ew, which was delicious. Several teammates ordered the green curry, which also looked tempting.I'd highly recommend the space, and will likely come back on my next trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had a reservation but no table was prepared and we were sat in the bar with a kitchen door they kept open. No one really seemed to be waiting on us... When food came they just popped it anywhere on our table. No one asked how the food was or checked on us. We had to hit someone down for the check. Very disappointing.
