From greeter, to our server Ash to food runners and staff cleaning table service was excellent. Two adults, one teenager and two young kids, there was something for everyone and staff was super accommodating offering selection of tables to suit our needs. To go beer was a plus, will definitely be back.
Bluejacket has always been a favorite, but what really sets them apart a separate gluten free fryer for fries and tots.
Chicken and fish were overcooked. No one refilled water. In fact, when food was delivered I tried to ask for more water but the person just turned and walked away. Overall, it was fine but definitely not a first choice for me.
Our server was not as attentive and had to be asked to order and to get water. He did have a wide area and seemed to be the only server there.
Enjoy the lunch and service was very good. The staff was able to handle individual checks for a party of 12. Thanks
Food was honestly incredible. The chicken sandwich was well worth it and so was the calamari.
We went for restaurant week with people who had been there before. Had a great meal (pork chop tender and juicy, steak as ordered with great chimichuri, melt-in-your-mouth trout, and amazing dry rub on the chicken, to say nothing of the very light calamari, deviled eggs, and generous beet salad, and did I mention the amazing desserts?), with a very efficient and attentive, but unobtrusive waiter. The food arrival was well paced, and we never felt rushed. Our tablemates confirmed that the restaurant week portions were the same as the regular portions. We'll definitely be back!
Met a friend at Bluejacket to watch the USWNT play in the Olympic soccer gold medal game. Got there at opening and had great seats in the bar area, good food, tried a few different sour beers, received excellent service from Nathan. Bigger TVs or a projector would have been nice to see more of the game from the booth seats, but really can't complain too much about that.
Food was excellent and served quickly. Beer choices were vast and delicious. Service was both food and bad. Our waiter was very nice and took very good care of us. Was very attentive when serving us. The bad was that he took a while to come see and then we waited quite a while for our check. Overall I would recommend just be prepared for a longer stay then you might like.

Had the worst service this time. We didn't get waters until 30 minutes after we were seated. Our server was never at his station and was constantly flirting with other wait/bar staff in addition to some guests when he was deciding to do his job. We spotted him spending over 15 minutes at one single table of two female guests. We had to flag down another staff member to close out - which caused him to come over finally. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to us when we told him we've been waiting a very long time to get his or anyone's attention. We closed out immediately. We were visited twice overall - never by him. We would have ordered more drinks and even food if we were visited more. Extremely disappointed.
Loved the ambiance. The service was attentive without being too rushed. The food was great. Fantastic, homemade tater tots that were creamy inside and crunchy on the outside with excellent dipping sauces. My partner doesn't usually like fish but I had to keep him from eating all the trout, which was super tasty. Wine and beer were excellent too. Overall was a great experience.
Great place to grab a bite and a drink. The building has a one of a kind vibe. Music was a bit loud in the booths. Moved to the bar and everything was just fine. Shout out to Trey being an awesome server and all around good dude
Got the Caesar salad and falafel platter on MLK Day. Was sad to see they were open Brunch Hours but didn't have the Brunch Menu. The Caesar salad was very sad - lettuce and croutons and a bunch of shredded cheese to hide the sorrow of the overall entree. The falafel was good though however not sure if that is supposed to be a pita or a tortilla. Regardless of the type of flatbread, it isn't something you can pick up and eat like a sandwich.
Our brunch couldn't have been any better! Not only was the food delicious (highly recommend getting an order of their tater tots! Actually, get two - you won't regret it!), and the service was fantastic. Our server, Nathan, gave us an informative and entertaining overview of the restaurant, their beers, and their menu. His recommendations were perfect and he was overly accommodating to my child, who decided halfway through her meal that she didn't like the cheese on it. He brought her out a brand new one, sans cheese. Parking was a bit of a challenge because it was an event day (street parking was restricted and limited), but we were able to find a spot just a block away. Can't wait to go back!
