This is a must stop if you are in DC. An icon for decades, it never fails to impress. The location, the decor, the staff, the service, the kitchen, the food...all amazing and memorable. When searching for that special place, this is the one. Especially right now with the new menu items. The swordfish is AMAZING!
Tabard Inn was fabulous, like something out of colonial America (think, Williamsburg). The food was excellent...especially the Chesapeake Blue Crab dip and the Bread Pudding. You cannot visit Washington without dining at Tabard Inn. We sure hope to return.
