Over from the UK and been to several expensive restaurants. Decided to walk away from the usual tourist places and found this gem of a place. Absolutely fantastic service. Amazing staff and food was to die for, even managed to satisfy my 14 year old son and that is a job in itself! Made to feel so welcome and it definitely has to be on every tourists place to visit.

We decided to go on Monday for the $5 burgers. One of the best burgers we’ve had! Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, bacon crispy, not sure the type of bun they use, but it complimented the burger nicely. Fries were also excellent. Our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back.

When we walked in, an employee was busy putting trash bags into the trash cans. We asked if the place was still open, and he shrugged us off, saying, “It’s open until the last game.” Seeing people seated inside, we decided to sit at the bar and look over the menu.
Once we were ready to order, we politely called out to the employee with a “Excuse me,” but he ignored us, giving a confused look. This kind of dismissive behavior is unacceptable and not how customers should be treated.
I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the manager regarding the poor service we experienced.

We never got to experience the food because the server was absolutely rude.We were a group of 5 women who just wanted to order one of the servers told us someone would be over to serve us but no one ever showed.So we then asked one of the male servers could we order he told us no and told us we had to go to the bar aggressively and loudly.When we asked to speak to a manager he told us no one was there.The female had to hold him back from getting in our face because he kept coming towards us yelling.We ended up leaving but not before I snapped a photo of exactly who the server was.Horrible experience 3 birthdays ans a Bruce Springsteen concert.Highly unpleasant would not recommend

Ok, so let me tell you about Mikell B! This woman handled the floor this afternoon! When we arrived it was just after brunch hours and right before the Nats game was going to open. Add that to a sudden rain storm and the place was definitely full! She worked those tables like you wouldn't believe. She was never flustered or upset with anyone and has the sweetest personality.
Unfortunately our party wasn't able to be seated together due to the amount of people already in the establishment, but Mikell made sure our party was taken care of regardless of the seating arrangements.
I would also like to mention the bartender who took care of our drink needs prior to even being able to find an open table. Steve was amazing! His drinks were on point and he was jumping in to help whenever he could. Definitely a place you need to try when you're thinking about places to eat in DC!

The customer service is complete trash! I walked in there and walked out before I could get served. I sat there for 30 mins and realized no one was hosting . I then walked to the bar to ask do we seat ourselves and it was a guy behind the bar with small locs in his hair and glasses who sarcastically looked at me and shook his head yes smh than when I went outside the tables was dirty and they acted like they didn’t want to clean the table I then tried to order food and they said the waiter was about to leave mind you it was 8pm smh on 6/8/24…Idk who the owner is but whoever hired these people might need to reevaluate their staff

We ended up here after trying out another restaurant and as skeptical as we were, we were all pleasantly surprised! Walking toward the back where the restrooms are is a bit off-putting, but the food was amazing!! 5 out of the 6 of us in my party ordered the burgers and they were amazing!! The one person who did not order a burger and got wings instead was jealous of how much the rest of us enjoyed our burgers (even though he said his wings were super tasty as well). This was a place we “settled” for and I’m glad we did because I dreamt about the burgers and garlic parm fries that night ?

I work close by and as an avid visitor during lunch hours, it’s rare I encounter any issues with the place. My experience has been damn near perfect all around with music, what’s being displayed on the TV’s, and the service. I normally get wings, strausburger, and buffalo wrap.
