It’s the dive bar experience without being gross! Patrons of all ages but definitely a college/young professional spot. Tons of TVs to catch your favorite sporting event.

My husband and I couldn’t even get inside. This establishment is NOT wheelchair accessible. Adding insult to injury… We tried to go there on Veterans Day…….My husband is a disabled veteran!

Have had a good experiences here before, but last night the bartender got drunk, was rude to us, then complained that we didn't tip enough 😂😂😂😂

Al Garcia , Manger , took very good care of us and the drinks were spectacular. He constantly checked on us making sure we were satisfied with the food even though they were short staffed. 10/10 customer service. We will be back

All was well until the white bartender assumed I didn’t pay and embarrassedly asked out loud if I did…the assumption was not warranted and I even waved bye as I left out. The Latino bartenders were nice and cordial. First and last time there

You’re clearly not coming for the food, which is pretty awful. You’re not coming for a quiet chat because you can barely hear your own voice. So, you’re probably coming for the atmosphere, which definitely transports you back into the 1990s. The service is friendly, the food is really bad and the ambience is great, if you’re over 50.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We shared the chicken wings and chicken strips. I'm from the south. I was not expecting the chicken strips to be grilled. However, it was a happy surprise. Both items were juicy, flavorful and delicious. I did find the wings a bit spicy for me. I'm not a huge fan of hot flavors. Not bad, still delicious just needed the ranch dressing. All in all it's worth a try.

The Bottom Line is such a fun hidden gem in DC! It has that classic dive bar feel—nothing fancy, but super welcoming and full of personality. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with strong drinks, good vibes, and no pretentiousness, this is it.

The staff was friendly and quick, even with a pretty packed crowd. We came in for happy hour and were not disappointed—great prices, generous pours, and a solid selection of beers and cocktails. The music and energy made it easy to settle in and enjoy the night.

Lunch grilled chicken salad was delicious, nutritious, attractively presented, and a good portion size. Service was efficient. Staff were friendly, good conversationalists, and accommodated my special requests with competence and grace. Being in The Bottom Line mid-day was a refreshing reboot for a busy day in the Nation's Capital.

I really love this place, as soon as I arrived, Ivan received me with great predisposition and introduced me to the local drinks and the best food at the bar. Really very friendly, he made me feel at home.
