This cafe is on the American University campus, but anyone can go there. Prices look more like 2017 than post-heavy-inflation 2024--likely price control and subsidy based, for the students. It is a rather large hall type space, but nicely designed, not a bare cafeteria style look. Hardwood floor with a large carpet, a mix and match of sofas, different types of chairs, tables large and small, round and rectangular. There aren't many plugs if one wants to work on a device (but I nonetheless easily found one). It is a chill, very college'y environment (few grad students leave alone faculty sitting around). A very nice space for both socialising and working with the buzz of cafe vibe around you. The hot chocolate was so so (but then again, my standards are European for hot chocolate) and the spiced pumpkin muffin was quite nice.

The bridge is one of the best sport on campus. It’s a cool and fun space, great for hanging out with friends or getting homework done. They have lots of yummy drinks. I love getting their americanos or chai teas with Asiago bagels or lemon poppyseed muffins. They have great seasonal drinks too

Look the interior and the ambience are to die for but the food is simply not there. The bagels are essentially bread (and that's not a good thing) and the espresso is,,,, disturbing. Seriously I think there's something wrong with the machine. The chai latte may as well be warm milk. Only come for the vibe, never rely on the food.

The Bridge has a very unique location with a great atmosphere. However, their bagels and often stale and they frequently run out of brewed coffee.

i can’t stop thinking about this turkey cheese veggie hummus bagel sandwich i ate a couple weeks ago omg (the iced hazelnut latte was great too)

Great Starbucks Alternative. Basic hangout. The students who work there are very friendly and do a great job.
