Strictly writing to give one star for lack of anyone picking up their phone. Had an important question and needed to speak to a representative. Their phone kept ringing and there’s no voicemail. This is just pitiful. Why can’t a business that’s open pick up their phone ???

My boyfriend and I came for the holly jolly special during the wharf boat parade. My boyfriend was told by a bartender that they’re not doing holiday drinks at all and to just order a regular drink when the whole reason we came was for the holiday drinks. I thought that was odd so I asked the hostess and the manager KK had stopped by and said they had just run out of all of the holiday drinks which is completely understandable considering the crowd. She had mentioned they can create a cocktail and named a few ingredients off that would work, so I said actually that would be great just something wintery/christmassy we can still enjoy. KK came back with a delicious coconut rum punch drink that was absolutely delicious and threw in a gingerbread cookie coffee shot. Both were so good and I was so satisfied with the service and immediate action. Thank you KK for making our experience enjoyable we really appreciate you.

Waste of time. Came to the Holly Jolly Christmas bar and it was terrible. They did not offer any of the drinks on the holiday menu, refused to make an espresso martini and had hardly anything we wanted. The selection and customer service needs to be fixed for the price you’re paying for sub par quality and service. Why have a Christmas event and not honor anything on the menu that is clearly listed on the website

I can’t recommend this place. Unfortunately, the service and experience was terrible from the beginning. Despite having a reservation, there was no table prepared and we had to fight to find one. The $30 ticket that includes a welcome drink only includes one SPECIFIC welcome drink, and it is a rum and whiskey punch reminiscent of a frat party. The food was average, and the service staff was not helpful.

Went for the Christmas pop up bar. Ticket comes with a drink. We thought you got to pick, but it’s a standard “welcome drink.” Don’t waste your time looking at the menu.

Then we ordered the pretzels and beer cheese. It came and it’s simply not beer cheese. Standard, concession stand nacho cheese. I like nacho cheese, but that’s just not the same thing.

Christmas decorations are great. Music is good too

I was overcharged $7 on a single drink order and you need to watch your bill at this place.

Happy hour is $6 well drinks. I ordered a gin and tonic and instead of getting a well drink I was apparently upsold without being asked to a $13 gin. Not cool.

You shouldn’t trust the service staff and should be sure to check your bill for random charges.

It also makes me sad to learn this is a Hilton Brothers’ establishment- it’s a long way from the quality and service of their early places like Marvin, the Gibson, and American Ice Co.

Visited The Brighton on a packed Wednesday night when a concert was happening next door. The place has cool decor and a good vibe, but overall, it’s pretty average. Service was fine but not particularly quick, and the food left a bit to be desired. I had the short rib burger and fries; the meat was flavorful, but the bun and toppings didn’t stand out – the bun was stiff and cold. Fries were good, and the spicy aioli was a nice touch, though. This spot seems more like a “grab a drink” kind of place rather than a go-to for a sit-down meal. With plenty of options nearby, you might find better value and experience elsewhere.

Came here for Sunday brunch with the family, and it was just okay. Since it was raining, we stopped in at the first restaurant we found. I want to point out that our server was great and really attentive. When we arrived, we ordered the loaded fries, and when they came out, they looked just okay. It looked like there was no effort made in the kitchen. There was barely any cheese or ingredients in them, but they tasted okay, and we were hungry. For our main, I ordered a BLT, which was not great at all. The cheese was ice cold and not melted at all. The bread was hard, and the side salad was drenched in dressing (if I had known, I would've asked for dressing on the side). To be honest, I probably would not come back.

Drinks were good, servers were nice & the sliders were delicious! Great place to pregame before a show at The Anthem.

SLOW service for not that crowded of a bar. Decent atmosphere but $30 plus tip for a double vodka soda... not worth the wait or the price. Burger was ok.
