Cindy charges double or triple the price and tips herself generously without asking. Come here to get scammed. Surprised this place hasn’t been put up by the police for fraud

I've been going to Camelot from time to time the last 30 years. Haven't been there in a while so thought I would drop in.I was super disappointed to see they erected a DJ booth right in front of the stage with incredibly loud speakers blasting nonstop Rap and other ghetto music. No variations for any other musical tastes. It was virtually impossible to have a conversation with the dancer sitting with me as the music was so loud.I was advised this is the result of a new, female manager who has decided for Gentlemen what they should like.As a Gentleman, I must honesty, accurately say Camelot, the once premier Gentlemen's Club of Washington, DC, no longer exists

I'm used to clubs in nyc so this was a bit of a culture shock but it's nice to not deal with the nonsense and come to a lowkey joint. Good looking gals. Yes expensive but a high end and fairly private experience.

If you looked up 18 + clubs and this showed up they aint 18+ , 21+ to get in. But 18+ to dance is weird.

Had a great time here! I was in DC for a work event and came to check out the atmosphere. The food was above average and unexpectedly so. not too many places with a great view and good food. Angelica was great and made sure everything was perfect and drinks were always full. She was attentive and very personable. Angelica was a breath of fresh air and it encouraged to spend with girls. 10/10 would recommend. Will be back here next time I'm in DC.

Since I couldn't post without leaving a star I left an star! Generous if you ask me lol. Didn't even get to see the girls or go inside... here's why: was originally at the strip club next door, left from that lack luster ass spot to see what was popping here. The bouncer told me all he had available were bottle tables and that it would cost 400 dollars. First of all I wish the hell I would lol and secondly, I haven't even seen the girls yet to know if I wanna post up at a table yet. Especially since the club next door is rated more stars but was not GIVING on a Friday night at 12:30am! Just sayin. Why would I chance wasting my 400 dollars on some lack luster stripping?? NOPE! Also, how do you only have tables?? Can I not stand and throw money? Idk, im over DC strip life. I won't even try to come back after that bs but if you can get in, please let me know how it was and whether it would've been worth my 400 dollars!

The waitress who said she was from Bolivia, charged my friend $55 for 3 beers. He paid with the $100 bill. She gave him $50 change just to come to our table by the end of the night saying that he didn’t pay for the beers.I read most of the reviews and see that she does it all the time. It was definitely our last visit in that place. I truly recommend the place next door. Everything is so much better including service. At least they don’t steal from you!

Yikes, I would give 0 stars if I could. I am a big fan of going out with my man to have a good time. Sadly, the only good time we had was just laughing at the utmost audacity this bar has to call itself a "Showbar." Any time a T & A bar doesn't charge a cover, beware! They are going to scam you in any other way we could. Before I was seated and barely sat my purse down, I was asked if I would like to contribute to someone's dance... I said ma'm, I didn't even see you but sure... here's a couple dollars. That was like giving a dog a piece of bacon, she continually came back all night for the rest of the slice. We had a hot seat, jokingly, we both agreed to not make eye contact with anyone in the establishment because as soon as you accidentally did, BAM! They were on you like a fly on you know what. Fast forward --- -girls are ok, interesting collection (some I will be honest, I was surprised were given a job there, but to each their own) -not sure what goes on upstairs, but we were not invited up there and there is only 1 pole downstairs -there is WEIRD music on and it is NOT loud (expect your conversation to be heard and even worse- when guys would go up to talk to the girls they would STOP their dance and you could HEAR what both were saying --- AWKWARD!) -you are not allowed to sit at the bar or order a drink from the bar unless you pay a fee? HUH -when i went to the bartender to ask for change for 1's- they were OUT of one dollar bills... it wasn't the type of place where I was going to attempt to drop 10's and 20's or more, so we left immediately after -2 girls in the bathroom during my quick trip in, doing you know what... don't they have a locker or changing room for that? basement? upstairs? anything? I was harassed about my outfit and where I am from and talked to the entire time I was urinating -girls coming to the table were talking to us about STRANGE things... like how they have to wake up in the morning for their online job and how one's mother lives in the "bad part of Baltimore", NOT. HOT. Literally one told us her belly was sticking out because she ate a large lunch. W.T.F. The best part --- Our tab for a 1.5 hour visit Wait for it --- $363.00 USD Three. Hundred and Sixty Three dollars. NO TIP included for 4 drinks a piece for 2 people - 8 drinks. You expect to be bamboozled in these places but this is highway roberry and a huge scam. No receipt given but I imagine to make more money, the girl charged us for "double" drinks instead of regulars, since she continually force fed us the idea at each round to our table while she apologized profusely each time for brining stacks of napkins. Yes, she must have been wasted or on something and each drink came with a handful of napkins until our table was piled up looking like the bottom of a recycling bin. NEVER. AGAIN.

My experience here gave me a reason to write my first review. To summarize from the beginning, the manager for the night, a short woman, was highly unprofessional and needs to be either reassigned to another position or let go entirely. So starting off, front door and security were awesome, showing me courtesies and opening doors and showing me to my table. I was visiting DC for the weekend and appreciated the friendliness. The dancers here are a bit aggressive but that's not a bad thing as long as you know what you're doing. On a good note, The women are gorgeous. The club rules have you buy a drink for any dancer that sits with you if you want them to stay. I was active that night, purchasing a few drinks for myself and others. There is also a weird house rule where dancers cannot dance off the stage. My dancer was reprimanded by the manager several times for dancing at the seat and table we were sitting at, which ruined much of the experience for me here. After a while at my table, I was told the table was needed for new guests who had just walked in. There were several other empty tables which raised a red flag as to why I was being moved. I'm not a confrontational person, and I understand that sometimes business takes priority, so I gave the table to the new guests and went over to the bar to purchase another drink. The dancer who was speaking to me followed me to the table, as we had hit it off pretty well that night and she was admittedly making a bit of money with me.After roughly 20 minutes at the bar, one of the security comes up to the bartender and asks if I had a drink. Bartender says yes he does and the security says because so and so wants him out I'm not sure why, So and so being the manager. I asked what was the issue and security stated they had no reason why, as I hadn't given them an issue the entire night. The manager, a short woman with black hair, was highly unprofessional, ruining the experience there for myself and several others who had dancers with them dancing at their seats. Not only that, being removed from the venue while actively still making purchases without any reason or issue is a problem. Get rid of that manager or reassign her. I appreciate the professionalism demonstrated by security and the working ladies, but 2 stars because of that manager.

Way better then mpire, better layout more space but ridiculous minimum dance price, you pay $200 and the girl doesn't even take her clothes off. Girl was hot af and way better then what's next door but still has something left to be desired.

I walked in to check it out as my first time in the state even. Place had customers but wasn't very busy at 730pm. Bouncer gave me assigned seat near the stage, told me go to seat when I tried approaching the bar for a drink. Had to awkwardly wait through 2 songs as the dancers on stage stared me down. Waitress showed up finally and ordered a single weak drink for $17.50. Took another 3 songs before I got my drink. The waitress gave me a menu saying vip prices from $200 for 10 min to $2100 for an hour. One girl nicely approached me and immediately ask for a drink, I declined realizing this was not for me. I mentioned where I usually go it's 20 per song, she laughed and walked away.Finished my drink as quickly as I could (within 3 songs max). The original stage dancer that I barely glanced at walked up asking for a tip, saying it's rude to not give her money. She also was gossipping and complaining with coworker part the set, then texting her bf instead of dancing. I told her I was leaving and don't even have singles. Also I was basically told to get singles at least 5 times by staff. The dancer went on to tell me how they rely on tips and got mad and stomped off. I left immediately. Didn't see any other detailed accounts in reviews so figured I'd add one. About half the girls were extremely gorgeous and the rest were still pretty good. I wouldn't go unless you plan to drop over 1000 though per person.

At this joint, they attempt to swindle you from the moment you step inside the establishment. If your goal is to go into the bar to simply have a drink and a good time, then Camelot is not for you. The strippers hustle you for tips even if you didn't watch them dance and other girls sit at your table and rudely and relentlessly hustle you for drinks. In short, Camelot isn't about providing the customer with a good experience; rather, it is about emptying the customer's pockets as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. Whether or not the customer enjoys their experience at this establishment is of no concern to Camelot. Finally, as if this experience wasn't tacky and distasteful enough, the servers make you pay for your drink before they even bring it to you! Shameful! Camelot is not a good place. It is not recommended.
