The Creamery at Union Market is a must-visit for ice cream lovers like me! While their ice cream is the main draw, they also have a great selection of milk, butter, yogurt, and cheese available in the coolers. And don’t forget about their sugar cookies, they are great! If you're looking for drinks, they carry a nice variety of juices, kombucha, soda, and water as well. The ice cream flavors are amazing, with options like Cookies and Cream, Grapenuts, and Nutella Biscoff—delicious! Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the staff is super friendly, always letting you sample flavors before you commit. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Yummy ice cream!! And I had the cookies here and they were pretty good as well. My husband had their chocolate milk and he said it was some of the best he’s ever had - and that’s that he loves chocolate milk and had tried so many. I got a couple different flavors of ice cream and they did not disappoint. Note that this place is in a market of other stores/shops so the seating is communal. If it’s really busy, it’s hard to find seating.

I drive all the way from Northern VA for this ice cream. It may be the best I’ve ever had. RUN , don’t walk there! Amazing and creative flavors that are clearly made with the best and richest ingredients. Flavors are also seasonal/temporary so you may fall in love with a flavor and go back again and it’s gone. I almost cried when they stopped the Oatmeal Raisin flavor.

Run, do not walk, to this ice cream stop!! Probably the best ice cream I've ever had. My bestie and I are huge ice cream snobs, and it's a shame we went here on our last night in the city cuz otherwise, we would've gone back every day!
We were seriously tempted to go back on our way to the airport to get some.
When (not if) I travel back to DC, this is my first stop!!!

To me The Creamery is a nostalgic kind of place that brings back the sweet memories of childhood. The small quaint shop you go to that has great people and great sweet treats. The Team Members are always happy and helpful and you can see it’s an enjoyable place to work. My go to is the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and if you’re lucky and show up on a holiday they serve the best soft cinnamon rolls I have ever taste in my 40+ years of living. 10 out of 10, highly recommend

While on vacation I stopped by this place. Upon arrival, I knew it was not going to be good. Immediately I noticed a female employee eating lunch in the area near the beverages behind the ice cream encasement. Violation #1.

I then noticed ice cream cones uncovered with flies all around them. Violation #2

I then watched a male employee scoop ice cream into a box container and used tongs to get cookies. Without changing that one glove that he used on the scooper & tongs, he used his hand (palm) to compact the ice cream into the square box container. He could have used the ice cream scooper for that or just closed the box.

Nasty nasty nasty. Poor hygiene here and I’m sure multiple health department violations. Eat here at your own risk. After seeing all that I left without getting anything. A waste of gas and time.

The ice cream is creamy but it's toooooooooooo sweet for me. A cup of ice-cream must have a cup of sugar. I ordered a cookie too and that was so sweet I threw it out. It's hard to enjoy the flavor of these confections because they are so sugar forward.
