Best breakfast treat in town: croissant-pretzel! Great lobby in the Line Hotel to work and hangout.

The perfect place to do some work or just relax with a book/journal when visiting from out of town.

Perfect cup of coffee every time. Love the outside seating. Love the inside seating.

Cool ambiance. The hotel lobby seating area is one of the best coffee vibes in DC. This is a new favorite spot. Try the Okinawa latte

Terrible coffee at an exorbitant price made by rude unprofessional employees. I might as well have just gotten a cheap one from 7/11 and asked the man behind the counter to spit in it. It was that disgusting. At first I thought I had ordered the wrong thing, but nope! What a shame. I figured with how snobbish everyone there was acting that this might be one of those hidden gems no one knows about. Calling this place pretentious would be an understatement. Anyway, if you want to drink what tastes like old Camel sweat while getting your wallet gouged, swing by.

Excellent and beautifully designed. Great latte, great pastries. If you are looking for a cozy cafe thought, it's not yours. Guests of the hotel are checking-in and out and most of the building is focused on hotel guests. The hotel is a unseparatable part of the cafe.

Outrageously expensive. Spent $35 dollars on two coffees and two egg sandwiches (partially my fault for not reading the menu close enough). You might think, "well, at least they were probably really good egg sandwiches", but you'd be wrong. Might as well go to Safeway and pick up some freezer aisle breakfast because I'm pretty sure thats what they did. And then they put the sandwich on a "sweet potato bun", which I had never heard of for good reason. It may sound sophisticated but it does not pair well with a microwaved egg- and sausage-patty. Coffee was pretty good though which is why they received one star over none.

Pros: interesting and tasty pastries, good plant milk choices. Cons: high upcharges (including for decaf!), staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing and argue with you when you point out they got your order wrong. I have given them multiple tries and now pretty much only go if location demands it.

This place has the cutest aesthetic, but it's interesting/a little confusing because it's technically in a hotel lobby. I got the Maple Latte with oat milk, which was pretty good - not too sweet. It was pretty pricey though, so I expected something even better. The lobby area to sit in is very 1920s themed, which was cool, but it's really not the best place to study/do work. There are a lot of people talking super loud and walking in and out, so if you're trying to get actual work done, it may not be the best! The lighting is also very dim.

Very nice espresso for Adams Morgan! Some of the best pastries in DC.

I've been several times, the line is swanky-hip as hell. The Cup we all race for is nice, customer service is either fantastic or decent. Most importantly the plain croissants are the best in this town. Also not about TCWAR4(why is your name so looooong) but Betsy at brothers sisters was super friendly and helpful.
