I tried to go here three times during a seven-week stay in Washington. Each time it was “closed for a private event,” despite this sign in the hotel’s lobby. It has a great reputation, but I feel like management should be much clearer on its website and on social media platforms about its hours.

The staff is so nice and friendly. The cocktails are soooo good. the Whisk-cello was definitely my favorite. I also has the Mediterranean salad and it was very good. The vibes are kind of laid back speakeasy. Definitely recommend

Tucked away - dignified- bar and small plate spot. After traversing through the spacious almost cavernous lobby of the Marquis Marriott, this was a nice spot to hide out and chat away the evening. Food was plentiful and nicely priced. We got what we paid for.

What an amazing place!! we were in for a RW conference and needed a good place to relax after a long day of travel. We were greeted by Jonh G. who provided us with such wonderful customer service overall. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Thanks John! We will definitely come back.

I was looking for late night eats after my train ride from New York and Dignitary popped up. When I saw the reviews and the menu I decided to head straight there. John G. Was my bartender and he UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! I had an incredible old fashion with ginger paired with steak, puree of cauliflower, and perfectly seasoned broccoli. I’m smiling ?

When I sat at the bar, John greeted me with a great smile. I asked for an old fashion and he provided me one of the best. Not only did he provide me that, but spoke to me about all the whiskey and Bourbon you all had. I told him I had not had good service like that in a while and I would be returning. Thanks!!!!!

I walked into dignitary bar and I was greeted with a warm and bright welcome by John and I think the young man name was bj. John took me on a whiskey tour which made me feel like I was at distiller. I’m going to give this bar a five star because of the customer service I received today. By the way, 1792 Sweet wheat is my new go to Bourbon. And I want to mention the ambience is Stunning

Extremely rude gentleman at the front. I walked in and he didn’t greet me. I walked all the way around to the middle of the bar, were two women were. I asked them how do I place an order and they told me to go out the door to the right, and turn right. Well, the first place that she will run into is beer lab. I walked back in there. Excuse me can someone please tell me where to go to get food because I’m just trying to place an order. He aggressively told me to go all the way back to the right and turn left at the lobby bar. He said that I was insane in front of other customers and proceeded to talk about me as I walked out. I naturally talk loud because I am partially deaf when my migraines are active, and I wasn’t being rude, I was frustrated That they gave me bad directions and all I wanted to do was order food to eat, To help my soothe my migraine. Very bad experience and I will never return. Also, I am a 21 night guest at the Marriott and will be telling the manager how rude he was.

Staff is horrible. No personality and not friendly. I sat at the bar and the bartender just looked at me. Minutes later after I stared him down he came and asked what I wanted to drink. I requested a martini, and he didn’t even ask if I’d like vodka or gin. Vodka it is ?
