Where broskis go when they put on a button down. A place where the top shelf is as dusty as the bar rail. Where everything is an add on to the basic to make it complete.Two stars for the kitchen staff hustle which is waaay more than the negligible bar tenders….a follow on indicator of the lack of use of the top shelf.bartender quotes:“It seems like that wine would pair but I wouldn’t know”“Yeah DC is a college town for those of us who didn’t want to grow up”

Great atmosphere! The New York Sour is delicious! It wasn’t very full around 5:00 pm but filled up quickly. Great appetizers and small bites and very attentive service!
The best restaurant/bar in the area hands down. My wife and I come here weekly. Amazing cocktails, great rotating selection of wines, knowledgeable and extremely personable staff. Cheese plates are great and the burger is one of the best in the city. Absolutely recommend. It gets better every time (even after 100 visits). Thanks Eastern!

The ambiance is very cozy. Great date night spot. Monday night it was packed, all the other cool restaurants around the block was closed. Our server Erik was very attentive, the 2 wines he suggested was great. The cheese board & the meat board was excellent. But seemed a bit overpriced. But I'd be back.

Went for dinner one night then late night drinks the next. Small but very thoughtful global wine list; had a great Lebanese cabernet, an interesting skin contact white from Spain, and an amaro from Uruguay. Food well prepared and interesting as well.
