The Great American Bistro

Shockingly surprised how AWESOME the food was at TGAB. Took my Co. president out for dinner this week during the IMS2024 Conf. and he & I were really impressed with what the chef served us. Will absolutely return with the whole Sales and Marketing staff the next time.

This is just what our neighborhood needs - great food, attentive staff, and a nice atmosphere. They apparently have cognac night on the patio with cigars on Wednesdays, comedy shows on Thursday, and KARAOKE on Tuesdays. Patrick and Giovanni were wonderful. Come for the food, stay for the fun, enjoy the service!

Was in town for a short while. Came across this place unexpectedly and am happy I did. Food was great as well as the service. If you are not familiar with the area, it's not very easy to find.

Celebrated Mother's Day 2024 there. Excellent brunch menu. Bar. Food was delicious. Unlimited Mimosas. Live entertainment was fantastic. Owners gave all Mom's a red rose. Has a deck. Holds about 100. I will go back.

I was visiting DC and found this place doing a search. I'm so glad we found it. The area and the outside is unassuming but the food was so great, the service impeccable, we chatted with the owner, who had a beautiful energy to match the beautiful interior decor. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment. I hope to return again soon.

Victoria is the meanest, most disrespectful owner I’ve ever met. She comes off nice, but if she’s not drunk, she is can be a firecracker. She has no idea how to run that beautiful place. She can’t keep employees because she can’t pay them. She tries to serve expired and spoiled food. She is condescending and her customer service is awful. Though it’s a family restaurant, she hates kids. You’re better off going to Dunkin’ doughnuts down the street. Their food and service is stellar compared to going to the only restaurant on the block. Trust me, it’s not worth the money or time.

CLOSED WHEN WE SHOWED UP - HOURS ONLINE NOT CORRECT

This place is a rip off! Stopped by for a cup of coffee. The owner Victoria served me coffee that was cold and contained grounds. To make matters worse she was not concerned at all why I didn't drink it and she charged me $6.50. Needless to say I will not return. Hope she puts the $6.50 to good use because it appears she's in desperate need for the money.

Bad service. The woman clearly had an attitude. It was my first time in the establishment and it will surly be my last. Nothing was prepared. Half of the menu was 86’d and the owner/server clearly is not an hospitable host. She was very mean to me and I don’t know this person. Good Luck!

Discovered the best place in DC….the atmosphere was amazing, the customer service was excellent and the food was Delicious!!!!! Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!!!!!

Victoria is so kind and the food is excellent. I had the shrimp po-boy and wings with Old Bay. Both were excellent. Grilled shrimp, not fried, and the wings were large and fried perfectly. 5 stars.

Really nice interior, very friendly staff. Only got drinks but it was good!

We found this place on accident and I’m so glad we did! Our waitress was so sweet. She aided me in picking a great brunch meal. I most definitely recommend coming here! Can’t wait to come back.
