Honestly this was probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, which is shocking considering this is a hotel restaurant.

My friend had just landed her dream job, so we came here to celebrate. The food was actually fine. We’re not picky at all. What ruined everything was the staff attitude.

After we paid and left the restaurant, we went to the restroom on the B floor. On our way back upstairs, we passed by a small book room that looked nice, so we stepped in for a quick look while waiting for our Uber. There were no signs saying “hotel guests only,” and that room is literally on the path from the restroom to the exit, so anyone who dines there would naturally walk past it.

Then things got really uncomfortable. A security staff followed us from the hallway all the way into the room, stared at us for about 10 seconds straight, and kept asking “Are you hotel guests?” three or four times even after we had already answered no the first time.

We immediately walked out because we didn’t want any trouble. I told her calmly that I understand and respect hotel policies, but her attitude felt very disrespectful. Her response was that she could just have us removed from the building…

I’ve honestly never been treated like this before. What was supposed to be a happy celebration turned into a really upsetting experience.

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally well dressed, attentive, and made the entire experience feel elevated. I had the chicken poullard and my guest ordered the mushroom dumpling—both dishes were outstanding and full of flavor. The desserts were exquisite and the perfect ending to the meal. A charming place with excellent service and a beautifully curated environment; highly recommend. Was able to meet the manager Maggie and I will be back

I've dined in the Greenhouse twice before several years ago and had wonderful experiences. This time, the service was shockingly poor. The wait staff was inattentive, dismissive, and did the very barest of bare minimums to communicate and serve the table. We were a small party of two and the restaurant was not crowded, so this was surprising. The food was fine, but not stellar. The 2 drinks were ordered at the same time, but arrived spaced about 10 minutes apart with no explanation. The sever just sat a drink down and left without a glance or a single word, so, I wasn't sure if they even had our drink order correct or understood that 2 drinks were ordered. This is just one example of the odd, distant service that persisted throughout the entire dining experience that day. Typically, a restaurant of this caliber has a server that introduces themselves as your server, explains specials (such as the hot chocolate cart I observed), tends to the table, is friendly, etc. Note that I had a confirmed reservation and we were punctual.

Beautiful venue with gorgeous holiday decor, the hostesses were lovely; the food was okay for the price and the table-side service was also okay. The hot cocoa cart is advertised as being available at brunch on the weekends and holidays, so we were disappointed that it was available during New Year's Day brunch, which is a holiday.

We came for Brunch… I'll admit, the Instagram posts of their hot chocolate bar definitely piqued our interest and convinced us to give this place a try. While the setting is lovely, the service felt inconsistent at times, and the menu didn't really stand out.

Greenhouse Eggs Benedict- prepared well and the asparagus was the perfect side.
Lox and Bagel- the salmon was delicious and not salty.
The hot chocolate bar was cute and fun; it’s really just a push cart with a friendly server adding toppings, which melted into the hot chocolate and was delicious!

Overall, the food quality was solid, but there wasn't anything that stood out enough to make me want to return and try other menu items.

The Greenhouse is a great spot if you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food in a relaxed setting. The menu focuses on quality ingredients — the salads and bowls were crisp, vibrant, and satisfying, and the proteins were cooked perfectly. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual but inviting, making it an easy place for a quick lunch or a laid-back dinner, and I’d definitely go back.

Was somewhat disappointed with the price fixe menu selection and definitely not worth the cost.

With the exceptions of the cranberry sauce and turkey gravy, the Thanksgiving meal was bland. However, breakfast on the following day was superb: Greenhouse and Jefferson eggs benedict.

Superb on every level!! The crab cakes and butterscotch creme brulee were the absolute perfect holiday brunch and the service impeccable.
