I had my birthday breakfast at The Greenhouse in DC. I ordered the Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes. ? These were fluffy, not too sweet, not too 'chocolately', and the banana on the top was glazed with crystalized sugar ..mmm.. Just right for me. The staff was friendly, too. Overall a pleasant experience. ??Kid-friendliness: I saw a few tables with families/grandparents and children sitting together.

the portions are very small for what they charge. the waffle was a frozen food that they microwaved and served it fancy but when you tasted it was soggy and cold. $10 for cup of tea but nothing special about that either. the ambien is very nice. all together was a rip off. just find a better place to go.

This place exceeded all expectations. It was such an amazing experience. Quiet, not rushed, superior service. The dinners we had were spectacular! It was the first dinner night of our trip, should have saved it for last bc everything after was a disappointment LOL.

Came here for a birthday brunch and enjoyed the scenery and food but the service was terrible. This really could be a great place if I was serviced appropriately

Went for brunch. Food and the atmosphere were excellent except my server. The manager was so kind and generous. However, my server was rude and did not provide good enough service. So I did not tip my server, but I tipped the manager instead. I keep my receipts and compare with my credit card statement. That server charged tip on my card. I immediately disputed and sent a proof of the receipt to my card company. Everything could have been harmonious if I did not have that server.

Beautiful location. I wandered in here by accident and decided to stay for the delicious food. I sat at the bar and the staff were so kind and accommodating. I will definitely be returning.

I got the private room with my friends, and really enjoyed the brunch here. The three-egg omelet was delicious with the chicken sausage and the cheese, but I do wish that tomatoes were offered as a topping. It would give a nice acidic taste to the omelet. The servers were very nice and offered to take pictures for my party. The aesthetic here is also really nice. Overall, highly recommend for brunch.

Highly recommend this place. It was like walking into a fantasy set. I let them know through open table that it was my husband and I anniversary. After 11 years of marriage we wanted to go to some place. Nice. They had us in this nice little booth ahead of chandelier. Look like it was something out of beauty and the beast with the faux book shows. Also, the different areas made you look like you're walking through a castle with the fountains and the giant floral arrangements. Food is super flavorful. It is like a classical French cuisine with a different stock reductions. Highly recommend. Also they just don't do classical French. There is parts of gastronomy and everything else highly recommend. The servers are very well versed in everything that is on the menu including the wine list.

Outstanding experience! Had a business dinner for three of us who regularly eat at Michelin star restaurants and we were all very impressed. The service is impeccable, starting with the wait captain mixing smoked old fashioned drinks at the table side. Food was very good with fresh ingredients well-prepared and elegantly plated. Wine list is filled with gems and bargains- I'm a Californian wine chauvinist and was amazed at the availability and pricing of Scarecrow, Schafer, and Bond among others. Even had some solid choices from Paso Robles!

Walking I to the place is like walking into a fairy tale. The place is absolutely amazing with many nooks so that most of the tables feel very private. At some point looking at the little jars with jams on the table in that setting reminds you of a tea party from Alice in Wonderland. The service is phenomenal even though confused the waiter for a security at first, but I guess this makes the place special as well. And of course the food is amazing as well, everything tastes amazing and fresh.

The main attraction to the Greenhouse is definitely the ambience. This place is beautiful. Perfect for a brunch date (I recommend in front of the fireplace or in the small green room). The waiters were polite, dressed very professional that added to the overall feel. We ordered the fresh berry French toast, 3 egg omelette and fresh mixed berries. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but honestly the omelette didn't have a lot of flavor and the french toast was just good. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu and I definitely recommend for an impressive date.

Our surprise party with a lot of moving parts was made possible with health and laughter from the hostess to our waiters. Delightful people making a surprise party that much more enjoyable! Thank you team Greenhouse!!

Rude waiter, he rushed us out of there, did not even offer or ask if we want anything else. We were there for our bday celebration and requested on the booking. It ruined our birthday plan, no cake offer. Too bad we love the place but too afraid to go back for this kind of service.

We had a lovely time at the Greenhouse- The gorgeous country French decor and ambiance was so appreciated. The service was impeccable and we were lucky enough to be seated in a private alcove while enjoying our delicious brunch. We would definitely return and recommend to our friends and family.

The Greenhouse Benedict was incredible. Even my wife who avoids bread said they were very good. The pancakes and French toast were great as well. They sat us in front of the gas fireplace which was very welcome on a chilly January Sunday. Service was super attentive and professional. Great place for brunch. Cappuccino was excellent also.
