We celebrated our anniversary at the grille this year and it did not disappoint. We arrived to the host stand wishing us a happy anniversary and there was a card on the table. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and a pleasure to share the evening with. The chef sent out a delicious amuse bouche delivered by the manager with our first beverage round. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was comfortable yet upscale. We look forward to coming back soon!

High end and absolutely fantastic!
We enjoyed outside seating with a view of the water. The staff was exceptional.
Everything had so much flavor.
Order the All Bites appetizer for your table and your guests will thank you. A perfect meal experience.

Best decision of my day! Summery Oct 30 on the patio, welcoming stsff, oysters on the half shell, deviled eggs with foie gras. Life is good here at The Grill!

Stopped here for lunch after a work event. Good atmosphere and decent food selection for waterfront prices.

Everything was just okay. We had a variety of dishes but I had the burger and fries which is one of their specialties, and it was… fine. My burger was definitely more medium than medium rare, and I actually did not like the fries at all. I saw the table next to us send back a steak that was overcooked, so if rarer meat is your thing, maybe avoid. It’s a HUGE restaurant, and our server was very kind, so definitely points there, but I probably would not return for the food any time soon.

This is my favorite restaurant for elevated American food! I’ve been several times and refer to anyone who asks for a nice casual restaurant. The pricing is in alignment with the quality of the food and service. My must order items are the Mussels and The Grill Punch. The stand out entrees for my family when we go are The Grill Burger, the branzino, and the NY Strip.
The sides are great, the brunch is great, the staff are great. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!

Food was great. I really enjoyed the burger and all of the appetizers were on point.
I can't recommend the martini, though. Maybe I missed it on the menu, but I was expecting a traditional martini with an olive, not a sweet martini with a date. It just tasted weird.
Everything else was great, including the service.

Anniversary Dinner was amazing, staff was great, hospitality manager was soooo delightful. Comp glass of wine, met the chef, everything was perfect. Love the menu setup, we had the crab fondue, salmon and filet, sides of asparagus and twice baked potato very pedestrian of us but it was the absolute best. Happy to share our experience....

My fiancée and I recently came to the grill to celebrate her birthday. It was a horrible and underwhelming experience that cost over $259 for two people without alcohol. One would think that a STEAKHOUSE that sells $68 ribeyes and fillet mignon would have 1. Knives sharp enough to cut the steak 2. Have the ability to consistently cook steaks to the requested temperature 3. Properly season the steaks so they don’t taste like natural meat with a small hint of salt. However, sadly, the grill did none of them.
The steaks my fiancée and I requested to be cooked to between rare and medium rare came to us black and blue with a deep red/purple color in the center. It was so undercooked it had that raw toughness of raw meat. I felt like a wild dog ripping meat off a carcass. Making matters worse, our steaks were cold like they sat in the window for too long. Undercooked and cold steak that was $70 a la carte? Ridiculous!
Since the steaks come a la carte, we had to order sides, which were good. However, since I had to send my steak back to actually be cooked, I was left to eat more than half of my sides so they weren’t cold by the time my steak came back. When the steak got there, I asked the server if she could bring my fiancée and I knives that were actually sharp. The knives the grill has don’t have any serration, so they need to be routinely sharpened. Your assume the manager would know this. Guess not! They were not sharp. A butter knife would have worked just as well, which is not at all. The server’s response when I asked for sharp knives was “I’ll do my best but I can’t make any promises.” Admittedly, that was just her trying to keep things light. It wasn’t said in attitude and wasn’t taken that way. I think she was also frustrated that a “nice” restaurant couldn’t even be bothered to give their customers proper knives to cut the expensive steaks they sell.
When the steak came back, it was not only now overcooked, but it was somehow still cold. It went from cold and undercooked at black and blue to cold and overcooked at medium well. My fiancée opted to take her steak to go and just finish cooking it at home as leftovers, which I did as well after trying to choke down the dry, overcooked $70 steak they gave me.
Do yourselves all a favor and don’t come to the grill. It’s a steakhouse that doesn’t know how to cook or season a steak and doesn’t provide the proper utensils to eat the steak.
The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because of the server. Do better Grill. I will never come back here again.

My husband and I took my parents here while they were visiting us in DC. We ordered a lot of food and drinks and spent a lot but it was all worth it.
It did however, start a bit rough - when we checked in, I gave my name to the hostest and she said okay well when your whole party gets here we’ll seat you, I said they are here, and she then says where are they…..I looked to my right and pointed at them as my family was standing there. She then says we’ll get your table ready and looked away….. she was quite dismissive and I was NOT impressed considering it was our first time there and we brought my parents.
However, everything changed the moment our server arrived. She was amazing (she called us love and it was so genuine), the gentlemen who walked us to our table, food runners, clearing team, managers - it was restaurant service perfection. The drinks and the food all came out at the perfect time and was amazing - small delay with our bread order but it all ended up working out in the end.
10 out of 10 for the food and table service - 0 for the hostest.

My friend and I ordered two filet mignon cooked medium, but one was served medium rare and the other well done. While the grilled cheese was enjoyable, it didn't leave a lasting impression. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though we found it challenging to understand the waiter’s accent. Given the price of over $110 per person for one main course each and a shared starter with herbal tea, we felt that the experience didn't justify the expense. Overall, this restaurant is quite pricey for what we considered an average dining experience.

Any place that has a Vesper in their cocktail menu is OK by me! Our group of 12 had so much food I can't even remember what I ordered for my entree. The appetizers were amazing and filing. We had a vast array of beer, wines and cocktails...the sommelier was very helpful selecting wines for our German colleagues!
We left quite full and wandered around the mall to burn off all the amazing calories we had at The Grill.
