It is an elegant dining room with a quiet atmosphere where you can hear each other talk. The service is great and although the Cobb Salad is not listed on the menu, they will make it for you. It is one of the best salads I have had. I highly recommend this restaurant especially for a special occasion.

I was very disappointed that the notes that I added about a birthday were NOT transmitted to the restaurant as the birthday was NOT acknowledged, but about adjacent table, staff presented a dessert and sang. I was very disappointed

An outstanding dining experience. The service was excellent. Very friendly, but not intrusive. The presentation of the food was delightful, and the taste was even better. You could tell that a great deal of care went into each dish. The location allows for a view of the White House before dining. A must try when in D.C.

The always elegant Hay Adams! It is always a treat to dine here. I was sad however to see the crab Benedict is no longer on the menu, and that the Fiji water in its silver holder was not part of the table setting any longer.

This is an exquisite high end restaurant. You can tell when you walk in the door that this is something special. It has a beautiful traditional ambiance only see in the finest establishments. This spills over into every aspect, from the cocktails to the wines and the entrees to the desserts. The service is impeccable. What more could you ask for?
