Absolutely outstanding. Cannot recommend The Little Grand highly enough. Their pizza is the best in the DC area and their service and atmosphere are incredible as well. Straightforward and thoughtful menu and the staff are more than happy to help you determine the best options for your taste, just ask. Cocktails are awesome and the wine list is focused and always interesting. Definitely check it out.Parking: Always parking available on the side streets.Kid-friendliness: Great with kids. Very welcoming atmosphere for families, especially early in the evening.

In town visiting some local friends and we tried this place. I honestly have been looking forward to my next visit ever since I left! The pizza is very delicious and so are the drinks.I tried the potato pie with the addition of pepperoni per the menu suggestion and I absolutely loved it. This is a must stop for pizza lovers in the area!

I’m sorry to say the pizza just wasn’t good… it was very greasy, the dough was oily and the cheese felt cheap. I didn’t eat more than a third of it. However the owner is a super nice guy, and the place has a cute, hip atmosphere to it. It was very packed when I went. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish? Also it’s commendable to want a higher pay for everyone working in the restaurant, but 22% service charge is ridiculous. Maybe just increase the base price of the dishes and keep a normal charge that doesn’t make clients feel they’ve been abused, the result will be the same but it will be easier to swallow.

This is our favorite neighborhood spot and a great place to bring friends from out of town.- Amazing pizza - our faves are the potato & smothered onion and we often get the special white too- Great drinks, they have good beers on taps and fancy cocktails- Awesome and friendly service. I also like that the gratuity is included and clearly communicated, makes everything feel more transparentMy personal hot tip is that I like the circle pizzas better than the squares. But they're all delicious!

As a New Yorker, I can confidently say this is the best pizza in DC. Almost everything else is trash. The bar here is super cute too with great cocktails!

I am never coming back to this place again! Me and my boyfriend decided to go and get some pizza. We ordered their meatballs, smothered onions pizza and lemonade (which was very sour and tasted more like very sour lemon water than it did lemonade). First, the meatballs were great. We were excited to receive our pizza after trying the meatballs. We get our pizza and it’s very spicy. We were unaware of that, usually menus let you know when something is spicy. We weren’t able to enjoy the pizza. We both got food poisoning as well. I ended up throwing up for an hour or so with really bad stomach pains. My boyfriend only got intense stomach pains. We ended up paying $60 for some meatballs (5 normal sized meatballs), a pizza and one lemonade which is pretty absurd, considering we were also unaware of the 22% tip.

Everything about the place, service, and atmosphere is incredibly cosy! We had a chance to meet the owner directly, which was honourable while he checked on us, showing how much he cared. Highly recommended!

Here's the thing. The pizzas are so tasty that it's sort of made me fall out of love with other pizza places that I used to frequent. They will tell me, "Josh, we haven't seen you in a while!" and I have to tell them ... I've found someone else. That someone is The Little Grand.Sometimes I get a craving for a pizza from The Little Grand on a Tuesday or Wednesday ... those are the worst (because it is closed those days) and there are not enough tears to empty the ocean of my sorrow. So just make sure you remember that it is closed on Tues and Wed, so then go on Monday and get pizzas to save for the days that it's closed so that you can satisfy your craving instead of being sad and hungry.

Amazing vibe and great foot at this small, dimly lit pizza place! Tucked in the alley behind the Apollo, this place feels off the beaten path. The servers are fantastic, we were able to book a reservation for four (recommend making a res if possible as space is quite limited). The food and drinks were delicious. We had a fantastic time, will return soon!
