Insisted on holding my credit card and then LOST it. Apparently they gave it to another patron.

I went here for the first time last night and had a decent experience but something that happened when I closed out, bothered me. I was sitting in the basement and watching football and got my bill and saw it had 20% gratuity tacked on, I’m new but not that new to DC so I know the drill. I decided to tip an extra few dollars. The bartender seemed mad at me and told me that the 20% gratuity isn’t his tip but something the employer takes to pay his hourly wage. If this is true, then the employer is doing something highly illegal and if it is not true then this bartender is shaming people into tipping him more.

Went on a trivia night. Everyone one was welcoming. Had a perfectly cooked cheeseburger and curly fries. Was a cute little spot to have a drink in DC

This was such an unassuming bar with tons of charm.
We sat at a table in the back and got our two rounds of well drinks at the bar. More folks trickled in over time and eventually folks were playing super smash bros while the dj played lots of early 2000’s music. The atmosphere was very calm and it felt like folks there knew each other. I think this bar is great for millennials who are laid back and want reasonably priced drinks.

Amazing entertainment and deliciousss food! I enjoyed my night here, I recommend this spot to anyone in the area! The talent there was amazing, super supershoutout to the bartender and chef cause whewww I loved everything about this place & food.

The bartender rude she put half our order in wrong and gets mad at us and didn’t wanna fix the order she said oh they not making it over we just going take it off which we wanted the food not for it to be taken off she in a customer service environment it’s no way she that rude

attempt not to go here or the neighborhood. They count how may race goes in this place. Security is the worst! You will get your car break in. And you will get no help. Worst place ever. No star if possible.

This review is specifically for Nic, who usually bartends downstairs. She’s great and personable and while this bar is far from me so I don’t make it out here often. I won’t come back unless she’s working! (Joking kinda) thanks for letting us hang and talk your ear off! The lemon pepper wings were great ??

Local "dive". Big heated back patio and expensive drinks.

I went here with a few friends for a nightcap. The waiter took all of our cards to open a tab for each of us at but at the end of the night, to not complicate things, we decided to just do one bill. Someone else covered the bill yet my card was still charged. No receipt was given because the waiter said he didn’t charge my card, yet the next day, I woke up to a $48 charge on my charge. Don’t recommend this place.
