Great meal and service was excellent! Watch out: The fries and bread that come as appetizers are easy to fill up on because they are so delicious!
After sharing private feedback regarding our experience, I was genuinely impressed by the immediate and thoughtful response from management. Their attention to my celiac disease was exceptional throughout the evening, and the birthday touches were lovely. While the porterhouse did not initially meet expectations due to timing and cook, it was still delicious, and the way management handled the situation demonstrated a true commitment to guest experience.
Was beyond expectations-was my birthday and they exceeded the great service they had provided at previous visits!
Every dish, from the agnolotti to the chicken to the wagyu steak, tasted as if the kitchen had dredged it in salt. Twice. A surprisingly unappetizing meal—one so poor I broke my rule against writing reviews. The service was friendly but just didn't have much to work with. Consider one of the dozens of other steakhouses in the area.
Absolutely amazing. I had the best birthday thanks to Bourbon Steak. The wagyu is to die for- it's a must have. We had the scallops, French onion soup, some mocktails, a 7oz Australian Wagyu filet, the 14oz Wagyu ribeye, truffle mushrooms and brussel sprouts. For dessert we had the beignets and a complimentary birthday ice-cream. This will always be my favorite restaurant in DC and a huge thank you to the wonderful staff for a truly magnificent experience!
J'ai passé un agréable moment, les hôtesses étaient vraiment adorables, Rebecca et aramide Malgré que le serveur ai oublié de garder ma viande que je lui avais demandé de faire un Takeaway J'ai passé un agréable moment. À bientôt.
Our first visit. Terrible value. Incredibly expensive for very average food and experience. We had steaks and lamb, nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. The bright spots were a very accommodating bar staff, and the beet salad was excellent.
Food quality was mixed. The appetizers were very good. Kids Mac & Cheese was undercooked and inedible to even a child. The lamb chop was extremely overcooked and not med rare. Had to get a new lamb chop and it was still overcooked but better. Filet was outstanding. The manager was rather off putting asking my wife if her lamb was cooked more to her liking. Clearly the manager had no clue that med rare did not mean brown all the way through and a black crust. Obviously, hard to find good help. Overall not terrible but too many other places in DC, for the price I would not recommend or return.
Service wasn't great on this night. We had to wait or wave down server for rounds of drinks.
Sandy our server was amazing!!! She was friendly and warm with attention to detail like nothing I ever seen. Amazing first time experience. Hats off to the chef too the best food I ever tasted.

They know what they're doing. Basically and extension of the Four Seasons hospitality and service.
Excellent restaurant, the food is very tasty, the service on point. Nice beverage assortment. Excellent bar scene with outdoor fireplaces and seating. When in DC or Georgetown it's a must go.
We very much anticipated this dinner and had high expectations. As usual, Bourbon did not let us down, from the service to the food, everything was perfect. It is our go-to splurge when we come to DC, and it never disappoints. Bravo (again and again). Thank you to the team.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Exceptional Dining Experience at Bourbon Steak, Four Seasons We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Bourbon Steak, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us by name and provided an elevated level of hospitality that made the evening feel truly special. Our servers demonstrated exceptional professionalism and attention to detail, explaining the menu and services with clarity and enthusiasm. Every course was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — a true reflection of Bourbon Steak's commitment to excellence. The ambiance, service, and cuisine combined to create a memorable fine-dining experience worthy of its reputation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a first-class celebration or an unforgettable evening at the Four Seasons.
Love this restaurant. Always enjoy celebrating our son's birthday here every year since he's been at college. Service is always great. My salmon was good but very oily. The steak was amazing. My roll was very hard which I thought was odd. Love the octopus and spinach.
