I had a chance to eat breakfast here when I stayed in d.c. The coffee was perfect. I've had a lot of oatmeal in my life, and this was among the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend

They had the best coffee in DC! The owner spent time helping us order and the staff was so friendly!

Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian and gluten free. They had wonderful oatmeal and gluten free avocado toast. And the vanilla latte and mocha were to die for! Subtle sweetness and delicious coffee!

The staff was friendly and it seems like a relaxed environment. However, it is very overpriced. I ordered a morning elixir that had 2 slices of ginger, lemon and not much honey. This was probably my only time in that vicinity but I thought it would have been more for the proce.

The food is delicious and fresh! Our group ate lunch 3 consecutive lunches! The salad and ginger lemonade drink are unique.

Vegetarian options: The toasts, the sweet potatoes salad and soup, cheese sandwich.

Coming in a bit after noon on a weekday, I ordered food and a coffee, sat at an open table, and started working on my computer. It took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive. After finishing the food, I continued work while I drank my coffee. About 10 more minutes elapsed and the coffee shop mostly filled up.

I was focused on working and had not noticed when I heard a woman behind the counter loudly say across the restaurant to a patron, “You can tell squatters at tables to move, or I will move them myself,” while looking in my direction. Another gentleman sitting at the table beside me promptly packed his stuff and left. As I was doing the same, one of the young women behind the counter walked in my direction. Before she could say anything, I gave her my half-full coffee and said I will leave now.

Understandably, a coffee shop is a communal place where people come to drink coffee, eat, and work. I would’ve been more than happy to move and certainly did not want to be rude to other people. However, publicly chastising patrons who have been there for less than 20 minutes rather than communicating with them respectfully guaranteed that I would never return to this establishment.

This was the best coffee we had in DC. The drip coffee was solid, the vanilla latte and mocha were also excellent. Great staff and the owner was very nice. Best coffee in DC!

This café is an absolute gem! The coffee was excellent, and the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were especially impressed with the gluten-free beef sandwich – it was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The oatmeal was also outstanding, and the staff's advice was simply incredible. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a warm atmosphere – we felt very welcome as tourists!

The lady who works here or owns the place is indeed very rude. She must be pretty insecure to behave this way. No surprise there. If she doesn’t have enough staff to service the restaurant, she has no right to vent it on the customers willingly coming in. I was here for a meeting at Georgetown, all the way from nyc, a little thirsty and needed to fill my flask. I certainly will not be returning to this coffee shop.
