The cocktails are okay; my party ordered two sunflowers, and they tasted different from each other (one was more strong/not as good tasting than the other one) so consistency was off. It's very dark inside which fits the vibe of a speakeasy, but being dark + a bit loud makes it more ideal for a smaller group hangout. There's several couches for groups!

Definitely one of my favorites speakeasies in the city! Dim lighting, Top Tier craft cocktails, laid back crowd, classic Speakeasy vibes. The bartenders take pride in their work and it shows. I'll remain a regular because it's an easy place to love.

The speakeasy is basically hidden. You really cannot tell that it is a bar or anything because is ducked off. The vibe is cool, music is good, drinks high as hell, but thats DC for ya.🤷🏾♀️ I do not believe i saw any food, other than some chips.

Yuck. As someone with craft cocktail experience, this place is mediocre at best. Dark vibe, secret mirror, awful drinks. I ordered a daiquiri obv the classic way… it was made with DonQ and $18. Not balanced at all. Awful. Treated like lime juice. No sweeter… find better.

the interior lighting is perfectly dim, I had a delicious mezcal last touch with a solid $5 off during happy hour, and I had no trouble hearing my friends talk over the music and crowd, and the bartenders were quick to take our orders and close out tabs. All I could ask for from a DC bar really.

So I was in an honest fashion coming from another bar, I may have come across as rough being from Boston. But I was treated like I was trying to cause a scene when I asked for a drink and dismissed. Made a joke, I wasn't politically correct enough (referring to race) and promptly kicked out (as a black persons I really believe they were just looking for it personally). I was joking with already inebriated Co workers. The bartender over hearing took offense and literally called the cops who said I wasn't in the wrong but legally they can tell anyone the want to leave. Just look at everyone who reviewed and me there is only one concrete difference

Really unique spot, the mirror on the wall is super cool and in such a random place. The bar area was really busy so we sat at a table. Great music and cool vibes. We didnt order from there menu just had a couple of negronis and they were perfect.
