Place is okay. Nothing great. Good for a couple of drinks late night I guess. No food though, they just sell Lays chips for a dollar, so, don't come here hungry.

Real speak easy experience right down to the hidden entry down the stairs behind the mirror. Top notch old fashioned, heavy burboun, large ice cube, and appropriate garnish. Life chip for a relaxing night with old friends.

Very cool bar with a cool concept. Having to open a door that’s a mirror since the bar is a speakeasy bar was really cool. A little cramped inside when it’s busier, but other than that it was really cool! Prices were also a little higher than I expected.

The Mirror was a very vibey drink spot after a dinner out. The entrance was cheeky and fun to kick off the vibe. The drinks were good but a few dollars overpriced for cocktails that are standard rather than bar specific specials. It is very intimate with limited seating, low lighting and loud music.

Julio and Gradie are rockstarts and the best speekeasy bartenders in the DC area entertaining, fun and knowledgeable. Had a great time at the mirror. Will recommend to everyone I can!

Worst bar in my life. It is so dark that you can’t see and there is no option for smoking.

We didn’t even get a chance to try the drinks to rate it as one of the bartenders (or manager) was extremely rude. Someone in my party had an empty water cup and was willing to toss it but instead of allowing them to throw it away the bartender yelled and was very aggressive. They turned away potential paying customers over an empty cup and although I live in the area, I won’t be returning.
Great place and authentic Speakeasy in Washington DC. Had a great time and refreshing cocktails 🍸 there.

Fun little speakeasy with a clever entrance. You'll need to go downstairs to get to the mirror and a guard will let you in. The cocktails were unique and the place was kept dim for ambiance. Service was great and we just happened to be there on a slower night which meant there wasn't a huge around the bar all night. Fun little experience close to the Washington Plaza hotel.

Sure it’s a cool entrance. But it is not that big of a place and can quickly become crowded. This isn’t somewhere you’d go to have a conversation. Not a lot of seating or lounging space. Drinks are mediocre and overpriced. Wasn’t impressed.

Highly recommend. Loved the atmosphere and the gentlemen running the bar. 10/10 Lions Tail was delicious.

This place was pretty cool. The staff were great and the lemon drop shot was so good it's worth sipping. The couch in back of the place is needing replaced but other than that a great time.
