It was definitely a bit cold in there for sure and they have tables really close to the window so the draft was a little bit harsh. We had to ask to change seats. I got the Riesling was a bit bitter. And the duck was cooked very nicely. The way the Burrata does have a lot of tomatoes more than expected. The soup was a bit basic.

Really pretty space, nice server. Remarkably bad food: tartare seemed a day old, sent it back. Octopus was tough. Halibut was really flavorless and mushy. Surprised with the quality of the food, not one satisfied diner out of the four of us.

Had a nice experience dining here for breakfast. The service and food are great. It was a nice restaurant tucked into a nice hotel in Dupont Circle. Will definitely visit again.

Great place for breakfast - love eggs Benedict and the ricotta pancakes! Soooo fluffy! Excellent service with good humor!

Dining at the Pembroke is always a lovely experience. The manager, Tom, greeted us personally and presented us with glasses of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday. Feels like fine dining, but much more accessible and friendly atmosphere.

Was looking forward to enjoying the meal but was sorely disappointed. Good and attentive service. Food just didn't have much flavor.

It took more than 30 for a waiter to come to our table to offer us drinks and of course more than 20 To have a drink We ordered a shared fish and it came as a whole Piece and they were not even able to offer us to cut it since it was difficult if you are not an expert

Restaurant staff did not call even after leaving multiple messages with front desk. I wanted to increase the no. Of guests to my reservation and online open table won’t take more than 5 people. Ultimately I had to make another separate reservation thru my daughter. They were aware of our 50th birthday celebration note, still they gave us the last table at the back end. when we asked them to seat us in nice front area which was more lighted and bright as this is a milestone celebration, they refused. The lady Manager had the guts to argue in front of all my guests at my table and didn’t apologize or stop the heated argument. I had to tell her to leave the discussion but she refused. Overall, very had customer service. I chose this restaurant as I wanted to try it for a long time. It was a disaster for my birthday. Never recommending anyone to go there and get humiliated on your birthday EVER.

We've been here a couple times for brunch. Food and service have all been good both times. Definitely one of my go-tos.

I had pretty high hopes based on reviews and it mostly did not disappoint- we tried the chicken & waffles and the Pembroke Benedict and both were really good. The lemon ricotta pancakes were dense and not as fluffy or tasty as expected. Would try it again and would still recommend it. The service and ambience are great.

I came to Pembroke for brunch and had a very pleasant experience overall. The restaurant itself is beautiful—lots of natural light, big windows, and a bright, airy atmosphere that gives off really good vibes.

For food, I ordered the smoked salmon everything bagel platter as well as the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was very delicious, though I would have liked a few more potatoes on the side. I also ordered the Greek yogurt parfait, which was very good and a nice lighter option. Overall, it was a solid breakfast, and I actually felt healthier eating here compared to some other brunch spots.

Service was good, and the food came out relatively quickly. Everything felt smooth and easy, which is always appreciated for brunch.

While nothing completely blew me away or made me feel like I needed to rush back immediately, it was still a very enjoyable, reliable spot with good food, great ambiance, and a relaxed feel. A great choice if you’re looking for a calm, sunny place for brunch.

Everything was amazing, we came for brunch today and had the steak and eggs with pancakes as our savory treat. The service was very immaculate, Michelle was very attentive and ready to cater for our every need. He made our experience more delightful. Special mention to the General manager aswell ( Tom ) who went the extra mile in ensuring our service was coordinated well and made us some fire drinks at the bar

The service at The Pembroke was exceptional and I was so pleased with the service that Raul provided. He was so attentive and professional. That is the type of service I look for when trying a new restaurant. I appreciated the calming atmosphere that this place provided I’ll make sure to visit in my next visit to DC.
