I went to Dukes to drink a beer and get a hamburger, asked them how their taps were flowing and which beers they have already served so I don’t get beer that’s been sitting in the lines overnight. they had no idea. A guy at the bar said he’s drinking a Pilsner, but the people at the bar did not know which one of their beers was the Pilsner?
i’m really looking forward to drinking the London Fuller’s ale. this is the second time of walked in, asked questions and just had to walk out.

It gets busy over the lunch hour and can be hard to find seating, but it’s the best spot to grab a bite in the area! Nice array of options and great place to meet up with friends as it has something for everyone!

This is such a cool market! There’s tons of local cuisines available, perfect for a group of people with different tastes. We came in the evening and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.

I love Western Market! It’s such a vibrant food hall with an amazing variety of cuisines all in one place. On any given visit, I can choose from ramen, tacos, Mediterranean dishes, gourmet sandwiches, or something sweet. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and the proper burger at dukes is definitely worth the hype.
The space feels bright, modern, and welcoming, with plenty of seating that makes it perfect for grabbing lunch with friends, having a casual meeting, or just taking a break in the middle of the day. Even when it’s busy, the vendors are friendly and work quickly, so I never feel like I’m waiting too long.
It’s right by George Washington University and just steps from the park at Washington Circle, which makes it a great spot to grab food and enjoy it outside on a nice day. Prices depend on the stall, but with so many options, it’s easy to find something that fits my budget. Whenever I’m in the Foggy Bottom area, this is one of my go-to spots—it’s like taking a little culinary world tour without leaving the neighborhood.

UPDATE 2023:
Totally different from before, this place has become an epic retail food court with many DC businesses and some regional, national, and perhaps even international restaurants represented. Prices are high due to inflation, but Capo Deli, Roaming Rooster, Nim Ali, Raw-ish, Falafel Inc, Bandoola Bowl, ArepaZone, and Bullfrog Bagels, to name a few places, are all great. If you'd rather sit down with table service, there's Bindaas and Duke's Grocery. Definitely a different world from what was here before.
Pre-2019 review: Other than Paul Bakery, there's really not much going on here. It's a nice way to walk a block or two without having to be outside, but that's it.
