UPDATE 2023:
Totally different from before, this place has become an epic retail food court with many DC businesses and some regional, national, and perhaps even international restaurants represented. Prices are high due to inflation, but Capo Deli, Roaming Rooster, Nim Ali, Raw-ish, Falafel Inc, Bandoola Bowl, ArepaZone, and Bullfrog Bagels, to name a few places, are all great. If you'd rather sit down with table service, there's Bindaas and Duke's Grocery. Definitely a different world from what was here before.
Pre-2019 review: Other than Paul Bakery, there's really not much going on here. It's a nice way to walk a block or two without having to be outside, but that's it.
Awesome food, the places Roaming rooster and Onkei are absolutely scrumptious and delightful !! The people at Roaming Rooster even let me have a sample! 😍😁🤩😆

Came here for a quick lunch, and the selection was crazy. So many amazing little restaurant stalls it was practically impossible to choose. I will say that some of the stall workers were a bit rude, but there were so many restaurants to choose from, I’m sure it’s not the case with all of them. Everything was clean, and it was super easy to find a spot to sit. It’s in a very walkable area, and close to some other really cool places as well.
I love bandola bowl here! So good
One can find plenty of options for food, but as most of the dishes come with single-use packaging and plastic, this is far from a sustainable choice for a lunch. The only place I found where one can enjoy lunch from a real plate and coffee in a real mug, without the extra waste, is Maman.
