We ended up here because the brunch location we chose was no longer taking reservations, and we were very hungry at this point. It was ok considering we chose here last minute. The waitress was really nice and the menu was decent. I had the crab donuts and fried chicken bites. Both were prepared fresh. The crab dip that the donuts came with had bits of shell in it so I had to keep picking it out. The chicken bites could have been better seasoned but the sauce that comes with them was pretty good. The apple butter corn bread was just ok to me, my husband really liked it. I don’t think it’s somewhere I would go back to, but it was nice for what we needed. The music they had playing was good!

My wife and I had an incredible meal at The Point DC . The restaurant itself is beautiful. Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and desires. The food was excellent. We even got to meet the general manager Matthew who seemed highly intelligent and passionate about his restaurant. If you are ever in the area check out this gem , you will not be disappointed. 5 stars across the board .

ABSOLUTELY AHHHHH-MAZING! My husband and I went to DC for a long weekend of R&R. Our goals were naps and good food.
The Point D.C. exceeded good as it was GREAT food. We had a fantastic waiter, Kevin, who was more than happy to guide us through our fresh oyster choices and our entrees. The oysters were phenomenal as we like plump & juicy ones which they were and were also chilled to perfection. My husband had the seafood risotto which he loved and I had the grilled Chilean sea bass. Regarding the sea bass, it was so yummy and I was sad when I was getting to my last few bites. For dessert, we shared the personal apple pie with their soft-serve ice cream which was the perfect finale to a perfect meal. I have lived in the DMV since 2018 and can say this was by far the BEST meal and dining experience I have had since moving to this area. We also had the pleasure of meeting the GM Matthew who was friendly & gracious which was fitting for our entire dining experience at The Point D.C. If you haven't been there yet, give it a try. It will totally be worth the effort! Thank you for an amazing meal and experience. There ARE still good restaurants out there!

My beautiful wife, our baby daughter and I went to the Point DC to have dinner this evening. The restaurant has a casual fine dining atmosphere. The back wall looks out onto the water behind it. We were seated immediately ;as the place hadn't filled yet, and a wonderful young waitress came over to take our orders minutes later. I ordered a plate of the* Fried Calamari ( very tasty with diced peppers , carrots and a really tasty dipping sauce) as our appetizer. The three of us truly enjoyed them. My wife ordered a bowl of *Chicken Fried Rice( with big pieces of
spicy , yet tasty shrimp). She said, " the fried rice is cooked the way it should be. And she "would get it again." The portion is very good.
I ordered a* Beet Salad ( 1/2" inch squares of cold delicious beets, nice size pieces of fruit with fresh salad, sprinkled with cheese and a really good vinaigrette.) The salad was of a good portion, cold, fresh and very tasty. I would definitely get it again. People would begin pouring in about 15 minutes later. My compliments to the Chef(s) in the kitchen. We had no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend The Point to family and friends. Go and enjoy some really delicious food. Thanks .

Our class met here on the night before our graduation. I was amazed with the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The highlight of the night was my VERY DELICIOUS Blackened Chicken BLT sandwich. IT WAS AMAZING! I definitely appreciated the good service provided by the server/bartender in the back. She did an amazing job improvising when I wanted a specially made mocktail drink. I am definitely a fan of The Point DC!

We found this little gym of a restaurant after we missed our reservations at another place in downtown DC. I will definitely visit it again. Maybe take a friend for lunch... the food to be well seasoned more than enough. It was really good. I would like to go and try some of their other dishes. I ate mostly crab dishes, but it was all very good. Their corn bread is excellent. Wonderful view with their floor to ceiling windows.

Today I stopped in. The outdoor bar had an investor in the restaurant visiting. The bartender upon attempting to sit at bar had 6 chairs at a public bar that went unfilled for the hour i was their patrons were not allowed to sit while investir was at the bar and restaurant was open. I asked what's going on bartender said the investor sitting at bar wasn't allowing seating due to a private situation. Mind you the inside restaurant had 10 people in it the indoor bar was empty and the non business intelligent investor was sitting by himself. This place needs top down leadership changes. Allowing an investor to massage ego makes no sense. Let your customers sit down.

We enjoyed brunch here! We arrived just in time to order and the manager made amends for us to be able to enjoy a delicious meal. I’m only sorry that I didn’t get her name.Everyone was so very kind. We will definitely be going back very soon!
