The service was good, you only see the server when they bring you the food and you are gonna pay, other than that you order online, yes, even if you’re seating in the restaurant, odd but okay.

This is long overdue, but The Royal has been consistently excellent for a decade and I’m so grateful for this little corner oasis. The grilled avocado is a top dish in DC for me and I love all of the arepas. Thank you for being a reliable standby that’s always a good, delicious time!

A solid spot for a chill catch-up with friends. I tried the chicken burger and fries, and both were really good. The arepas were fresh and flavorful too, definitely worth trying.
Service was good and the staff was polite and helpful. The drinks were also nice and paired well with the food. Overall, it’s a relaxed place with good vibes and tasty food. Would go back for sure.
