The Saga is a great experience from start to finish. When you walk in, the space is beautiful, light-filled, and spacious. You're greeted, seated quickly, and the entire team works together to help ensure you and your party are having a great time. We ordered the tapas tour, which was a whirlwind of delicious and inventive small plates. Some of our favorites were the fried calamari, the Spanish sausage, the bacon-wrapped blue cheese-stuffed dates, and the spicy olive oil marinated shrimp. Incredible!! For dessert, we couldn't resist a small cheese plate and the tropical-flavored dessert. We also got some mango sorbet to top it all off. The only comment I'd make about the tapas tour experience is that I wished the tapas came out at a more paced speed, so that we could savor each dish more individually. But really, I also could have asked for that and I think the team would have accommodated the request! What an amazing time, thank you so much to everyone on the team!

I truly can’t express how incredible the service was. I am from Minnesota and visiting a friend in DC. Jesus, Andres, and Rock were all incredible. They walked us through each and every drink, plate, and dessert we ordered and it truly felt like an experience of a lifetime. Everything was so intentional and excellent. Will 10000% come back and would recommend to anyone.

Sorry to say I didn’t have a great meal at The Saga. I was really looking forward to dining here for my birthday. The drinks and the desserts were objectively great, the rest was a big let down. My entree had entirely too much sauce and the staff couldn’t find my reservation but said it didn’t matter because they could seat us, which was annoying because the reservation noted the special occasion we were celebrating and our dietary restrictions. The presentation was generally lacking. At one point loud yelling could be heard from the kitchen and the lights kept turning off in the dining room.

Great fine dining experience with a few minor misses. The “Somewhere in Manhattan” cocktail was a creative take—sweeter than a classic Manhattan, but not overpowering. The pineapple infusion and black lemon added an interesting twist. The croquetas appetizer featured two flavors; the manchego was solid, but the plantain and chicken was exceptional. Branzino filet was flavorful and well-cooked, though the potatoes were dry and under-seasoned, and I wanted more of that delicious crispy skin. The real star? The burnt cheesecake—absolutely sublime. Would definitely return.

Very upscale and classy atmosphere, very low lighting makes it cozy but difficult to see.
