We took my wife's parents for restaurant week. The food was very good and the pairings were really outstanding. I think that The Sovereign might have the best value restaurant week menu. $40 for dinner is very good; $15 for the pairings is exceptional, especially given how clever the pairings are. Bottom line up front: This place was great and I'd happily go back. Loved the food and beer. They just need to shore up their service a bit. You should be aware that their beer is delicious, largely European, and is served in the Euro traditions of being other than ice cold like we Americans are used to. The beer is great! Great food, our service was fantastic. Our only complaints were that it was very loud- we couldn't have a conversation without yelling- and it was very hot. Not sure if the air conditioning was down, but it was somewhat uncomfortable.
