I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting D.C. It is a very nice and clean hotel, with friendly staff.

Rooms: The rooms are super nice

Nearby activities: There is so much to do that's close

Safety: Felt very safe

Walkability: Plenty of things to do nearby

Food and drinks: Food and drinks right outside the hotel

The location was convenient to many of the areas I had planned to visit (e.g., Kramers bookstore, local shopping, plenty of restaurants, etc.). My room was a studio king, which was surprisingly spacious compared to some of the other places in DC. The front desk provided vouchers to use at the restaurant, and the food was good. Marcus at the front desk was kind and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Good, clean, but older hotel. Probably a 5 star hotel a few years ago. Still, good. Worth coming to.

Room was nice. $30/day facility charge. Excessive. Food and beverage high priced. Location was 10 minutes from Dupont Circle metro station.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Every employee we came across during our stay was so wonderful and truly cared about our experience. My wife and I stayed here for our Elopement just a few weeks ago and at every opportunity the employees made it special for us. We plan to stay here any time we are in the district, and couldn’t encourage people enough to come here for beautiful and clean rooms with thoughtful and caring service. Thank you to all the staff who made our Elopement trip even more special.

Terrible service, very bad attention, I was staying in May of this year to celebrate my daughter's University Graduation and my daughter forgot her wallet in the bar on the first floor of the hotel, where we were celebrating as a family, the next day I approached I went to reception and they gave me the wallet, however only the Identity Document was inside and not the pearl, gold and diamond bracelet, we asked to see the security cameras and the Hotel never showed it to us, totally disclaiming responsibility and even the date we are still waiting...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The lobby is gorgeous and spacious and I was able to comfortably entertain visitors there. The suit was spacious and comfortable and I used all parts of the space. I would definitely stay there again.

Scam: Booked on Priceline and find $35 a night "Room Amenity Fee" charge on my Credit Card. Neither Priceline nor Hotel told me about this fee. Phoned Hotel and asked what the fee is for. Was told its for wi-fi and access to gym etc. even though Priceline website at time of booking this was all included. Feel duped. To be fair my. room was spacious, and brightly lit with nice linens. Staff are friendly and try to please. However....Elevator requires multiple room card swipes to work and most times we use the stairs in frustration. In room wifi does not work, requires a special web address after you complain to front desk. Lobby restaurant is S L O W. 40 minute wait after seating to get a breakfast. Coffee is not hot and 20 minute wait to get cream. Soup spoons to stir coffee?? Sheesh.

This place is a nightmare: very badly managed, bad communication, disorderly. But most importantly: according to the concierge no Apple laptops can connect to the hotel‘s WiFi. This problem is known for long, no one seems to bother. They also don’t tell you actively, you have to go down to the reception (where you meet other people with the same problem), where they try to sort it out. Might still not work bc their WiFi is not at all protected so your laptop might not connect bc of security implications. Simply don’t go, it’s not worth the dime.

Very bad experience. I would give zero stars if Google would let me:
-Half my laundry was lost and they have not been able to find it. They admitted that they don’t even know where guest laundry is sent as they outsource to a company. I was still charged for the laundry service!
-They sent a bill that made no sense after I checked out and then charged me twice for my stay.
-The guest amenity fee is a joke, what’s the amenities? The 25 dollar breakfast voucher doesn’t even cover the extortionate priced breakfast, it cost US$37 for one piece of soggy brown toast with avocado on top and an orange juice.
-front desk is understaffed
-restaurant staff all seemed very unhappy to be there - maybe because they have to charge guests 37 dollars for a piece of soggy toast.

I have sent several emails and made calls to the front desk and manager on my laundry and double charge and I have no response.

I do not recommend! Rooms are ok, definitely not a 4 Star hotel. Bathroom outdated and shower curtains are always gross. Friendly staff at reception, but housekeeper left the door open. Luckily nothing got stolen. Wifi did not work one night and staff said it happened regularly. Had to make extra costs for that. ATM in the hotel charges €5,- for withdrawing €20 of cash. Finally they charge a 30 dollar 'Amenity fee' PER NIGHT which is the most ridiculous fee ever. Travelling DC regularly for business, so I dont even need to pay this myself, but it got me mad! Never staying here again.

Let's stay work the bad... the over powering fragrance... in the lobby as well as the room.
I asked housekeeping (using google translate) for vinegar or alcohol or something. She handed me a bottle of alcohol and a rag.. which I used to rub down every surface I could and then I opened the windows which said item in emergency only. After a few hours it's now tolerable. A DND sign well go on the door for the rest of the 2day stay.

Next.. the so-so.. location. If you don't mind several several blocks to metro stains, you'll be happy. It's been a few years since I've been to DC...Uber rides were usually less than $6 in 2020.. today..$22.
Nothing with in a couple of blocks around hotel worth noting.. no store of any kind ... there are some restaurants about 6 -8 blocks away.
The hotel restaurant is $$$$ French.. dinner and breakfast only. I haven't yet had the food so that's all I'll say.
Now.. what's good.. The room itself. The king suite is spacious and comfy. I suppose you could throw sofa and chair cushions in the floor of you had an extra person.

Would I stay here again? No.. because of the location. .. oh and the overpowering "fragrance" I booked it for a group at a time when rooms around town were rare.
Still it's a lovely hotel.

Rooms: Lovely

Walkability: No food ir stores for several blocks... would prefer closer to Metro

Noteworthy details: They user cleaning products or air fragrance that is over powering.
