Came from out of town to visit a friend at around 12 AM and was denied entrance because they were “closed” despite their website stating they close at 2 AM on Wednesday’s. Very disappointed in an establishment considered to be a “Georgetown staple”.

My father used to come here 30 years ago when he lived in DC. We stopped in tonight to see how it was and my god, the service was terrible. We walk over to the bar, sit down and proceed to wait over 30 minutes to not be served at all. The bartender made eye contact with us multiple times then ignored us to go over to the same group of college kids he served 15 minutes prior. Eventually we left without having a single drink. Needless to say we won’t be coming back. If getting ignored to serve a bunch of 19 year olds sounds like a good time, I highly recommend.

The waitress was rude at the beginning. She seemed to be in a rush and that day the place was completely empty. She didn't bring the beers we asked for. The meat that they use for the smashed burger is not the correct one, or in other words, that's not a smashed burger, just a regular cheeseburger. The flavor was bland. I just came here because it's a popular place, but I'm not going back.
