We came here for the breakfast buffet, but it was still not worth wasting a meal by eating here.
After asking multiple times if we could use the breakfast voucher for the whole room, we were still given a bill and told afterwards that we could only cover a single guest with it. Even with that one voucher we spent $30 per person for the most mediocre continental breakfast.
Just walk out the door and go to any restaurant unless you just want to shovel whatever into your face

Came with a voucher from the hotel. Asked twice if the voucher would cover our table for 4 and was told that it will and they seated us. After we finished eating, they changed their tune and said that we only gave one voucher and so only one meal was covered.
Would not have come here for breakfast if we had to pay. $30 for less food options than most free buffets offer.

We had early supper here and a lot to choose from. I loved the mango salad and the home made tasting chicken noodle soup. The staff very friendly and helpful.

nice neighborhood. close to the Washington Post - helpful and friendly front desk
Four tiny onion rings .. 2 inch rings stuffed with coleslaw. Not vegan. Hardly vegetarian with that much cows milk.
Vegetarian options: Fries or broccoli

This was a pretty disturbing experience, as have stayed in many of Marriott's before and even the free breakfast was better than that. Besides the menu options being limited the quality of food was really bad. All of the food was very blend and the portions were a joke. The staff tried to make things better, but not much you could do about food quality. The setting of the place also could be better

We ate breakfast and dinner here, and both times we ate here, the service was great. We were greeted almost as soon as we had sat down. It is a little expensive but that's to be expected since it's inside a hotel. For breakfast, I ordered the French toast, which was very good but too sweet for me. I was a little disappointed that for how much it costed I didn't get any meats or eggs. I dont remember the name of what my bf ordered, but it came with plenty of food that he shared with me, mainly the bacon and potatoes. It was raining one evening and I didn't want to go out so we decided to try dinner here. I got the grilled cheese sandwich meal because I was cold, and that just sounded delicious, which it was. My boyfriend got the smashburger, and he said it was okay. it's just a burger, lol. It also didn't take that long to receive our food either. Overall, it is pricey, but if you're just too tired to go out and eat, this place will work.

The servers are awesome, the hotel is nice, and the atmosphere is great, but the food must be why this restaurant is called infamy. It was honestly very disappointing. I ordered a $23 turkey sandwich that was filled with what looked and tasted like a packet of the cheapest deli meat between two slices of grocery store bread and a couple slices of tomato and lettuce. The $12 chocolate lava cake tasted cheap and like it had gone off, and the ice cream had chunks of ice chips in it. If this meal was $10, I wouldn’t be complaining, but for almost $50 including tax and tip, it was much lower quality than what I would have gotten at any other restaurant at a comparable price. I would strongly recommend that this restaurant invest in better quality ingredients so that the meals match the level of quality the rest of the hotel represents.

Amazing ambiance and beautiful lobby. The food is amazing but too expensive. But the best part of the Infamy Restaurant was the live music on

DO NOT eat the the hotel buffet. It was the most disgusting food I have EVER spent $20 on. The chicken was so dry I had a hard time chewing and swallowing it. The rice had no taste. The veggies were lukewarm, and the soup was actually cold. I didn't expect a 5 star meal, but I also didn't expect the very poor quality of food either. The manager needs to be fired immediately. He is obviously not paying attention to the quality of food being brought out. I was shocked. When the manager walked by, he asked if I liked my meal. I said No and he walked away while I still talking. I did not raise my voice or shout obscenities at him. The waitstaff were wonderful. Westin, this manager is a representative of your company. And he is an extremely embarrassing ambassador for you. Someone has dropped the ball here. Shame on you.

The food was good. It was exactly what we were looking for, low key and we happened to arrive within the last hour after walking the entire day exploring DC.
dont let the reservations fool you, this is an airport style bar - loud, overpriced, integrated into a hotel lobby so its very public and doesnt feel like a restaurant. first ten minutes there & not a waiter in sight
