I love this place. It is not super fancy, but they have dozens of flavors, great portion size for the money, and most importantly, really good ice cream. Make sure you visit when you are walking up Wisconsin.
I found a hair in my ice cream. Ordered the Cookie Monster flavor. The ice cream tasted good but once I saw the hair I stopped eating because I was grossed out. Staff should take more precautions to prevent this health hazard.
Regardless of the expensive ice cream (which wasn’t special anyways) - the service was really poor. The staff were rude and acted extremely entitled.
Please take your money elsewhere. There are better places in Georgetown to have ice-cream.
Don’t let its popularity fool you. I wouldn’t recommend going in with high expectations. It’s an average ice cream you can find pretty much anywhere nothing special.
Awesome ice cream!
The Ice Cream is 4 stars, however service is 0 stars…. Combined a 2 star. Been here many times over the years, and would typically rate 4 stars in the past, but, they have had a serious fall-off in terms of service quality.
The guy who served me was very RUDE! I was shocked!
Price is a little expensive but they give you big portions. The service was horrible. It was my sister’s first time here so she asked the guy if she could get different flavors for the regular sized cup. She told him her first flavor and before she could tell him her second, he walked away. She was confused so she asked again if she could get a different flavor and the guy responded rudely “I already told you the first time you can get different flavors.” The ice cream was meh but wouldn’t come back due to the guy’s attitude.
The ice cream was meh, but the portion was large. We paid $13 for two dishes of ice cream. We were glad it was trash day because we threw ours away on the walk home. I would have given it 3 stars but the service was horrendous so I'm giving it one. I would suggest going someplace else.
I didn’t find the place worth the hype. Had the mango gelato and it didn’t really taste like a gelato
The best ice cream on the East Coast!!!!!

Its good. The staff are not as pleasant as you'd think. They're a little rushed. Family owned and operated. I think this family bought it out from someone else. But the quality is good and the variety goes a long way. You can't beat it in Georgetown. It's situated on Wisconsin Avenue.
The ice cream is fine but the service was straight up mean. They told the woman in front of us that they wouldn’t get a new ice cream scoop for her nut allergy. Felt like they wanted us to get a flavor and get out (it wasn’t crowded)
Took the kiddos into the city, and decided to stop for a nice cool treat. Saw the sign for ice cream and headed inside. The space inside is rather small/tight which is common for most establishments in the district. There were several items to consider and a vast menu. The service was rather “meh” and that was the overall experience. The ice cream portions are big, and the prices aren’t cheap. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, please bypass due to the poop service experience. I don’t spend my money where my patronage is not appreciated.
Sweet treat central!! So many flavors! We loved it!
Decent ice cream, but the service was terrible. Staff were rude, unwelcoming, and lacked even basic courtesy. Totally ruined the experience—won’t be coming back.
