An interesting take on Chinese cuisine, definitely worth trying! Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly and professional…But including 22% service fee is ridiculous!!! Why don’t you just pay salaries to your staff, guys? It’s absolutely fine to include wages in to the prices - they are not that small, btw!PS Ribs and wings were awesome ??

We ate at this restaurant a while ago, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The food was just okay, but the buns had a strange taste that we weren't used to. The main dishes seemed to be missing some ingredients to make them stand out, and the portions weren't great considering the price. The dessert, Monkey King Bread, was too sweet for our liking. The service was decent, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was nice though, and it felt like being in an Asian night market with a bustling crowd.

Food was amazing and overall a great experience. The only issue that I had was my dish (in a party of 5) came out at least 10 minutes after everyone else. Kinda messed with the rhythm of the meal.

Giving 2 stars because of all the hype around this place and how mediocre the food was while being charged a mandatory 22% service fee “that’s not a tip”…We got the crispy pork belly which was extremely salty and came with a bland green puree sauce and a small serving of pickled vegetables. We started with that and decided to leave after due to how disappointing it was and the lack of inspiring options the menu presented. Our cocktail was okay and was priced pretty much in line with comparable restaurants at $16.Server was just alright, hostess was nice and accommodating. The restaurant itself is in a really cool area of DC and ambiance is nice. The front door is extremely heavy though and so are the bathroom doors which we thought was weird.Anyway, given the buzz about this place and that it’s advertised to be on the Michelin guide, I would steer clear and spend money elsewhere.

Last night my partner and I dined here to celebrate his birthday and the experience was *mostly* fantastic. We didn't have a reservation but luckily the manager, I think, was able to get us a table. The food and drinks were delicious, had a great atmosphere, service was exceptional. However, we did have a less than professional encounter with the hostess as we were leaving which is why I'm writing this review in the first place. We opened the door and noticed it was raining, stood there for a minute to decide what to do, and then stepped back inside. We looked at at the hostess and she had her arms crossed (I guess because of the breeze, fair) but she was making a "shooing" motion. We said "Sorry?" And she said "Just leave!" and because we thought we heard her incorrectly, again asked "Excuse me?" to which she said "JUST LEAVE" again, with the shooing motion, and then walked away from the hostess stand to stand up against the wall with an angry look on her face. We considered asking for a manager but ended up leaving because we felt unwelcome at that point, and honestly kinda shocked. It was just a bit bizarre. Like I said, overall the experience was really great and I would be open to going back. I've just never had anything like that happen to me before, especially at an upscale restaurant... and it was still bothering me today.

Great for sharing plates with a few people. Inside had a really cool industrial vibe mixed with Chinese decor - felt kinda hipster. Our favorite dish was the Peach Pork Moo Shu.

This place was packed and I have no idea why. Service was passable, but the food and drinks were really lacking in flavor and execution. My dining companion and I both thought we might have had COVID for a second it was so bland! We each had a signature cocktail - hers was the mezcal with various ingredients that ended up tasting like almost nothing. I had a gin drink with a large number of herbs, which just ended up tasting like baby aspirin. We started with the cucumber salad, which was tasty enough, but nothing to write home about. The mushroom chow fun, though, was greasy and flavorless - we had to ask for soy just to make the noodles taste like something. And then the duck ... It took forever (but we were given a comped drink for the delay). After such a long wait, we thought we were getting a full duck, but it was just a breast. The fat wasn't properly rendered, but it was a decent medium rare. It has very little flavor and was in a hoisin sauce that hadn't been reduced properly, so it came out bitter. The pancakes served with the duck were inexplicably cut in half. All in all, a pretty forgettable experience and I wouldn't go back.

A great experience definitely would recommend sitting at kitchen counter it's such a cool experience seeing the kitchen work and staff are super nice. One thing to note to find tiger fork is the red building with the neon sign. The restaurant is super cool inside and having lively feel big tables but definitely the kitchen table is the best spot. We got Mushroom & Broccoli Dumpling, fried rice with shrimp, chow fun with beef brisket, and crispy pork belly plate. The dumplings were delicious has a great spicy sauce on top and is rich and flavorful. Super tender but still firm enough doesn't fall apart. Fried rice with shrimp was also really good great flavor with the shrimp and fried pork. So good and delicious. Very savory and well cooked. Chow Fun with brisket was the best item. The noodles were perfectly cooked soft yet firm. The brisket was nice and crispy but still tender. Has a ton of great savory flavor. Crispy Pork belly was so good the sauce and vegetables was perfect mix. The pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned spicy and crispy but a rich savory flavor. The scallion sauce adds nice freshness and spiciness.

I don't know if they changed their food quality or what but I went a week ago and it was not good. Not good at all. Insanely overpriced for terrible food. And the drinks suck too :(

The food is quite good. Honestly if I was going to return it would be for the drinks. The bar was excellent. The wife and I tried the menu planned for Chinese New Year. It was very generous for the price.

TigerFork- this Chinese bistro is tucked into a small alley in Mount Vernon Square and features Hong Kong street food style dishes and dim sum! I was able to try the shrimp & pork chili wontons, the chicken dan dan noodles & the fried tofu and Chinese broccoli fried rice I recommend trying it!
