This is BY FAR the best tiki bar in DC. It's very kitchy but also the quality is 5 stars.
We had a great evening with my family and Gil (the bartender). Highly recomend.

I had one cocktail over there. It was ok. A bit overpriced. Interesting tiki vibe, nice bartender, but not my kind of place.

My happy place at the Wharf DC. I love the vibe and the water view. The drinks are great and the bartenders are awesome. Ask for Simba or Gil! This is a place where you can relax and chill on any afternoon. Had the bbq pork nachos, painkiller and mai tai.

Second time here and it was even better than the first! Drinks were great and super fun- the food and dessert were delicious.
We were in town for a concert and had such a fun time here before we went. Both bartenders were really friendly and personable.

My first time visiting this area and place, and it was genuinely such a great time. The drinks and food were great, and our bartender, Simba, was truthfully the best. Shoutout to this man!! You the best, love ya!

My first time being at this place was the most amazing experience all thanks to my favorite bar tender of all time Simba. He is the greatest of all time and he deserves all the love. Whatever money he is making now is not enough. Love ya Simba!

We stopped just for drinks but their menu was so interesting we had to get some apps!! The cocktails were fun and we felt like we were on vacation even just for a day. Be sure to stop and take a tasting at the distillery in the bottom. It is small but the service is personal and the spirits are well worth your time. We left with a few bottles 😄

We had a great time visiting Thrashers. First we did a "tour" of the distillery which my wife and I thought was awesome. The space itself is pretty small, but the distiller Justin was super friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the different processes and ingredients for all the rums they offer. The tour includes a tasting of 6 of the rums, plus a cocktail at the end. After the tour we went upstairs to the tiki bar and had a few drinks, apps, and dinner. We even had to stop by on our way out of town the next day to buy some rum to take home!

Only did the tour. The staff was fantastic! Impressive what they do in such a small space and always great to meet individuals so passionate about their craft.
