I went to tipsy scoop and it was amazing. Yes I was greeted by Zach . He is the coolest guy. He was so nice so respectful so professional he made my drink with love. I did get tipsy baby and I will be back. The drink was so good y’all gotta go there it’s amazing and also you get to leave with your margarita scoop cup. That was so great. I love it will be back amazing
Stop by this ice cream shop after dinner and enjoyed the liquor infused ice cream flavors. They have a variety to choose from so you won't be disappointed.
Probably not much alcohol but the ice cream alone is good
After politely requesting to use the restroom. The employee at the counter refused . Customer need to buy “OREDER “ and pay to use the restrooms.
The staff attitude made an uncomfortable situation more humiliating.
Businesses serving the public should be more compassionated about basic needs. This treatment was appalling. The ice cream looks great .was very unwelcoming to the customer to use restroom enforce customer to $$ pay…!
Finally I left buy trash my ice cream to make her happy….!
Friendly staff but product is too expensive for what it is - ice cream all smooth with added flavoring, no fruit/nut/caramel/chunks. ABV below 5% means alcohol flavoring is masked. Fun presentation and toppings make for instagrammable photos but once the gimmick wears off there's not much substance to the product.
My friend and I decided to take his mother to Tipsy Scoop to celebrate her birthday. We arrived at approximately 2:50 p.m. and noticed an employee (an African American man with locks) assisting three customers. We patiently waited for him to finish.
However, after helping the customers, he began restocking boxes and cups on the shelves without acknowledging us or offering any communication. During this time, he wore the same gloves for both restocking and food handling, which raised sanitation concerns. My friend walked over to get his attention, and he was told the employee would help us after completing other orders. Despite this, the employee continued restocking supplies with the same gloves and then returned to scooping ice cream without changing them.
At no point were we greeted, acknowledged, or offered any assistance. After waiting patiently, we ultimately decided to leave, as this was not the type of service we expected, especially since it was my friend’s mother’s first visit and a special birthday occasion.
This experience fell far below expectations in both customer service and sanitation. We hope you will address this matter with the staff to ensure future guests are met with welcoming service and proper food safety practices.
Expensive but what ice cream isn’t.
Taste great and fantastic service!
Had boozy ice cream in DC and it was 🤤🍦 a perfect mix of sweet and a little wild. Nice place to hang out and refresh.
The Sangria sorbet is DELICIOUS
Very disappointing. Was in town and checked the website, said they were open. Walked over there and the sign showed they were supposed to be open from 2pm to 10 pm. But they were not open.

customer service shot the place into the ground
Tasted fantastic l! I genuinely enjoyed the taste. But $12 for a scoop on a cone is not so fantastic. It’s one of those places where you just go “well, that was something new” and you may even tell someone about it, but you may never go back.
Delicious ice cream and very friendly staff! Will come again!
Fabulous Black-owned local business with delicious ice cream and sorbet. Friendly staff and excellent vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!
**Refreshing Delights at Tipsy Scoop 🍦🍹**
During my first visit to Tipsy Scoop in D.C., I indulged in a delightful, boozy ice cream adventure. The experience was a flavorful journey with bourbon vanilla, virgin chocolate, sangria, and colada. Each scoop was a perfect blend of taste and texture, showcasing their unique infusion of alcohol. The alcohol flavor was subtle, enhancing rather than overpowering each creamy delight.
The bourbon vanilla was rich and smooth, while the virgin chocolate offered a luscious, decadent taste. Sangria and colada provided refreshing, fruity notes, capturing the essence of summer. A must-visit for a unique twist on classic treats! 🌟🍨
