The food here was incredible! I was so excited to find a great tapas place close to home, but unfortunately we went on their last day in business (9/4/22). ?

The cup of sangría was very good but the tapas were overpriced and so was the paella! I have never seen a paella that small in my life. Nor have I had one so salty. The vegetables seemed like the ones straight out of a frozen bag from the supermarket. Very expensive for what you get.

This place is absolutely incredible! Like going back to Spain!! The cuisine is authentic and the tapa portions are large, especially for DC. Price point per-person depends on how many people you bring and how much you order, but we walked away full with minimal strain on our pockets (again, especially for DC-based spot!). I would post pics but phone did not eat first... lol. They also have super solid drink options -- ranging from Spanish beers, wines, and cocktails.Unfortunately, the guy who served us said they are closing on Sept 4, so RUN don't walk to try them and show support before they shut their doors.

Superb Tapas, Paella, and Sangria at a local neighborhood spot. Fast and friendly service, great location near the Metro and a great atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!

Excellent and authentic Spanish food at a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

What a nice surprise. We wanted to try something a little off the beaten path for us and this place in Petworth came highly recommended. It delivered. I think it was a little short of staff but someone -- I think it was the owner -- made up for it. He was all over the floor taking care of myself and others and the food was very good. As we try to move past the pandemic -- or maybe manage it better -- I am hoping to try more locally-owned smaller restaurants. This is a great example.

Some good girlfriends and I went to a show at Hook Hall and took a walk up Georgia Ave to this little neighborhood gem of a spot. There was absolutely no one in the restaurant at 9pm on a Sunday, which initially made us nervous, but then we ordered our drinks and food, and well... it was AWESOME. The food, even the tapas, was generously portioned and beyond delicious. I ordered the vegetable soup, and at first I thought I wouldn't like it because of the abundance of zucchini (I hate zucchini), but it was pretty darned mind-blowing. It was subtly seasoned, but seasoned WELL, and the heat at the end was a nice addition. Since we were the only customers and it was late Sunday, we wrapped things up quickly so the staff could go home, but I'm sure the next time I go, it will be packed and my friends and I will truly be able to soak in all that this restaurant has to offer.

It's hard to describe how bad the food was. Let me start with what was great. Our server, Sean, was a delight. The bottle of wine we had was very good. We enjoyed the musical selection. We started with Jamison Iberico. It was fatty and stale with cold olives. The bread was like eating toasted white sandwich bread. The patatas bravas left us asking who could mess up potatoes. And mayonnaise not aoili which is typically served with this dish. We hopes that the paella would be better. Hubby ordered paella Valenciana(chicken, rabbit) and I ordered the paella vegetarian. The thing that is great a good paella is the complexity of flavors. There was no complexity here. And who had ever had a breaded chicken in their paella?! Perhaps it isn't as bad as we think it is....it just isn't at all authentic.

Love tapas and was excited to try this. We ordered delivery, so I can only comment on the food, not drinks, service, or ambiance, so please take that into consideration as they all sound lovely from other reviews. Croquetas - a bit bland and mushy, not as rich as I'm used to, and the sauce seemed to be simply mayonnaise Garlic shrimp - fine, but the shrimp seemed maybe overcooked, kind of mealy Veggie kabob - didn't really enjoy, lots of oil and very little herb to flavor the veggies Garlic mushrooms - also lots of oil, cooked nicely, not bad Chicken with green sauce - bit overcooked, lots of oil, not much green sauce Jamon iberico - good flavor, slightly sweet and nicely salty but didn't taste freshly sliced - I may be wrong, perhaps it's just a different aging process than I'm used to Tenderloin - soft with pretty good flavor, perhaps the best thing Huevos rotos - kind of sad fries with a sad egg, not much there Over all, I'd probably rate higher for about the third of the price, but for the same money (in high-cost neighborhoods) I've had many of the same itmes much tastier and better prepared.

The paella was great! The quantity is a lot, so order for one is actually for two!

Top quality and quantity spot. Seafood paella was great, as well as the mussels and mushrooms. Service was excellent, informative and provided some helpful tips and seating. Area felt a little rough around the edges though.

From the moment I called the place, agentleman by the name of Daniel answered and his hospitality made me feel like I was in Spain, he was super friendly and guided me thru the menu- when I got there he made me feel like I was walking inside my own House, very welcoming and accommodating. the PAELLLA is one of the best I have ever had in my life, the gambas the croquettes and patatas were amzing as well. this was my first time but It definitely won't be my last.. and Daniel deserves a raise, I thought he was the owner by the way he cares for every detail.
