Our server, Josean, was outstanding and took such good care of us as we celebrated our daughter's birthday. The food is exceptional and the ambiance was quiet and delightful! Will absolutely come back!
Went for dinner last night. Tortino is a hidden gem. Welcoming and excellent service. We ordered shrimp scampi and the scallops to start, both flavorful, but the entrees were truly delicious. Osso busco risotto to die for. Grilled lamb chops ditto. Also tried the white fish special. Moist and great sauce. We will be back!!
Fantastic upscale Italian restaurant without the high cost. Super fresh, well prepared delicious food served with gourmet presentation. Wait staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and super friendly. This is a five star restaurant! I had the linguini with seafood and my husband had the pork chop. We split the scallop and cauliflower appetizer and it was soooo good. The waiter helped us with wine choices as well. There were a few specials like risotto with mushrooms and scallops, a soup, an appetizer, and others. Too bad we could not order them all! Highly recommend this place. We had a 5:30 reservation, a little early for us, and by the time we left the restaurant was completely full. Make a reservation. Also, our food didn't take long to come out. That was a bonus.
A truly wonderful experience start to finish! Amazing wait staff, our dinner was excellent! This is a sweet, quaint, neighborhood treasure! Don't miss this one for great Italian cuisine.
Real authentic Italian food with scratch made pasta. Pedro was our server and he did a fabulous job. Best Italian meal I've had in my life and I'm 47 years old!
Pedro was super informative and a delight of a waiter.
I had the short rib with fettuccine Alfredo and spinach. It was like fireworks in my mouth. Delicious

It's delicious, but the pasta is very salty. The pork came out undercooked, so I couldn't eat it and threw it away.

The restaurant clearly should not have allowed bookings when they rented out the room to a private party. I have never felt so rushed. I used to love this place but this was a bad experience.

The food , service and atmosphere created a memorable dinner for "us ladies". The lamb chops.. delicious and was cooked to perfection. The four other diners enjoyed their entree as well agreed that Tortino was a restaurant to return too. The bottle of prosecco wine that was shared by three of us was fantastic.
From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in the enticing aroma of fresh herbs and spices emanating from the kitchen. It felt as though I were an honored guest at Nonna's for a traditional Sunday dinner. We were warmly greeted with smiles and promptly seated in the cozy dining area tucked away in the lower level of a neighborhood row house. The intimate and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for a romantic evening or a first date.
Shortly after being seated, our friendly server approached us and introduced himself, though his name escapes me now. We placed our drink orders and perused the menu while indulging in a basket of freshly baked bread accompanied by a fragrant olive oil for dipping. As our drinks arrived, the server enthusiastically informed us of the night's specials, providing us with insightful recommendations.
For starters, I opted for the grilled calamari, served with a unique chickpea mash and a delightful sauce that boasted a mild, spicy, sweet, and tangy flavor resembling a scotch bonnet pepper puree. The blend of flavors was intriguing and thoroughly enjoyable. Following this appetizing dish, my crab ravioli was presented, and I was overjoyed by its exceptional taste and quality. I am already looking forward to returning for another serving.
Meanwhile, my dining companion savored a delectable steak accompanied by perfectly cooked potatoes and sautéed spinach. I couldn't resist sampling their dish and found each component to be equally delicious and satisfying. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience truly impressed me and earned an A+ in my book. It was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last.
