Was pretty bummed with our experience here. We ordered the pink lady sushi roll and king of sea, and both rolls seemed like they didn’t have fresh ingredients. The flavor profile was also dull.
The presentation was nice. The shrimp used in the Pink Lady seemed tough and not fresh, and the King of sea was pretty, but the dried chips seemed stale and didn’t have any flavor so all it really did was add a crunchy texture to the roll. The Unagi on top also seemed over cooked.
Maybe we just ordered the wrong rolls?
The soy sauce was also insanely overly salty and had a strange fish taste with it, (was not the sushi). I’ve had enough sushi in my life to know something was off here.
Needless to say, a second trip is not in our future to this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic all you can eat with incredible quality and ambiance. I am a frequent visitor to sushi Ohayo, another all you can eat sushi place and after eating at toryumon, it is evident this establishment values presentation and freshness and efficiency. Our waitress was timely and friendly, many options to choose from. I highly recommend adding on the unlimited sashimi for $7. Will most definitely be returning! $41 for 90 min of unlimited food is unbeatable.

Service from Ivy was excellent, food was good. My son and I selected the all you can eat option with sashimi added option. We ordered and consumed everything from Miso soup, seaweed salad, gyoza, hibachi chicken, sashimi, maki rolls, and finished with mochi.
Tables were really close together, felt cramped.

Presentation was amazing and the food was delicious! My only complaint was that my $12 meal wasn't very filling. You should get ramen if you want a filling meal 😋

All you can eat is a scam! In the fine print at the bottom of the menu, they say you will get a surcharge for NOT eating all that you order. Don’t do it!

I could swear this isn't my first review of Toryumon, but I can't really argue with Google Maps now can I?
I eat here about once a month with a group of colleagues -- and this month, we all agreed to go with the all-you-can-eat sushi.
Good grief, I'm full.
Also, it was tasty stuff. From the roe to the Spicy Girl Roll (not made with actual spicy girl, I think), we have no notes. I might skip the fried rice, because there's sushi to be eaten.
TBH, I'm so full right now that I'm not sure I can say any more. Time to go home.
Ah! Money! $35 for the sushi, extra for the giant beer, plus a healthy tip -- and that's still pretty excellent for a DC dinner.

Got the all you can eat dinner, and while I'm not certain I exactly got my money's worth (I just wasn't as hungry as I thought), absolutely everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken karaage came with two delicious dipping sauces and was a much larger order than I was expecting. I would absolutely go back and do this again.

Food and Drinks: Amazing sushi, gyoza, and sashimi. Food had a great flavor and seafood was fresh and well prepared. They have an AYCE for $34.95. Well worth it for that price. Draft Sapporo beer was ice cold and cocktail prices were $12 - $14 which is pretty good for DC.
Service was slow to come to our table and it took forever for them to bring out drinks and food.
We will try again due to the food being great and we shall see how the service is at that time.

The all you can eat is a total scam. It’s not a buffet, you have to order everything, there is a 90 minute timer (where ordering and preparation take a solid 30), and you get charged extra for not finishing. Also if one person wants to do it, the whole table has to to prevent sharing. All the sushi are ordered in 8 rolls. They were fine, but not stunning for the price. All this for 35 bucks. The ramen was really salty and oily and had a weird pork taste, like I’m slurping pig oil. (Ramen from all you can eat also comes in full portions). The service is fine, but it’s a really bad deal.
