Found Toryumon looking for options near Lisner Auditorium. Saw their menu for AYCE with good options so decided to try it. We were sat quickly and staff was very friendly. Thought since this was AYCE that it would be small plates as they had sushi and entree options, including ramen, but everything was full size which really made this a great deal. Food also came quickly and staff came to take orders frequently. Would definitely come here again if we're in the area.

Great value, come hungry! We did the all you can eat expecting smaller portion sizes and we were surprised that most came as full size! Service was quick, friendly, and the staff came by frequently to check on us, clear plates or take additional orders.

Their all you can eat menu is really reasonable, however be aware that any food not eaten you will be charged for.

Had a lovely time and enjoyed the all-you-can-eat sushi dinner! It was very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was lovely, we were able to have a conversation without having to compete with music or loud tables to hear each other. The servers are attentive and polite, they were quick to ask us if they could offer us anything else, refill our water, or if we were enjoying our meal. The deluxe rolls were surprisingly on the list of available sushi and they were prepared with care as though they were ordered al la carte. I thought this restaurant was lovely and will absolutely return for an evening with my husband or when good friends visit from out of town. It was also conveniently located to meet friends in government work for lunch breaks!

Great selection, plenty of seating, quick service, and easy to access location. I had the Spicy Girl and Rising Sun rolls, both were great. And strawberry dessert.

You gonna spend too much time waiting for u food

The food overall was good especially for an all you can eat menu. We would have likely returned, but there was a very awkward interaction with the staff before we left. Another waitress who was not our original waitress stopped us before leaving and said she needed to charge us more because we did not eat everything we ordered. While we did not realize it was written on the top of the menu, no one warned us about this beforehand. That said, the only food left behind was food that arrived late before we had to leave for a show. We also told our original waitress about our timetable when we arrived and she kindly understood. The late food arrival was not her fault or the fault of the staff - it was just the luck of the draw on a Friday night. We asked to speak to a manager, and the secondary waitress said she was the manager. When we explained the situation, she then said she was going to get her manager, which was a contradiction. The manager was very kind and understanding, and he allowed us to leave; however, the secondary waitress was very loud and caused a scene as people stared at us during the encounter. We will likely not return in order to avoid any repeat interaction like this. Again, it was just a very unfortunate interaction with a secondary waitress who misunderstood the situation and would not allow us to explain. I would also recommend verbally advising customers of this as not everyone takes the time to read the rules regarding a buffet. Maybe that aspect was our fault, but we just were not accustomed to those rules and had mitigating circumstances.

6/5 stars. Impressed by the quality of the sushi and filet mignon.

Only complaint is that there’s too much rice in the specialty rolls. But other than that it’s great food for a great price. Just came back from a month in Japan and this hit the spot.

Toryumon Japanese House is a great spot for Japanese food and sushi. The Beef Curry and Chicken Katsu Don were both very good — flavorful and nicely portioned.

Food service was quick, and the staff were attentive throughout the meal, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable.

The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, good for a casual night out or a small gathering. Prices are fair for the quality and portion. Overall, a reliable choice for tasty Japanese dishes and attentive service.
